For women who prefer a balanced, slimmer lower body,
the number of patients choosing lower body liposuction
to achieve a smooth and refined leg contour is increasing.

If liposuction is planned for only the thigh area,
without considering adjacent regions,
it may result in an imbalanced leg shape
that lacks overall body proportion.

When considering thigh liposuction,
a single-area approach is often insufficient
for correcting full lower body balance.

It is essential to include surrounding zones—
such as the hips, hip line, and calves
to create a natural and proportional silhouette.

Today’s case features a patient
who had stubborn fat concentrated in her thighs.
Through thigh liposuction combined with
liposuction of adjacent areas,
she achieved a well-balanced lower body
and a longer-looking leg line.

Let’s review her transformation
through the before-and-after photos below
to see the changes achieved
through thigh liposuction.

[Patient Information]
Age: Mid-20s
Occupation: Healthcare professional
Height: 165 cm
Weight: 68 kg
BMI: 25

Even with similar body specs,
liposuction results may vary by individual.

This patient had a lower-body dominant physique
and felt stressed by the appearance of short legs
due to concentrated fat in her thighs.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient presented the following characteristics:

1. She had a large bone structure
with well-developed muscle mass.

2. Her body was fat-dominant,
with a sufficient amount of fat for extraction,
making her a good candidate for thigh liposuction
with promising volume reduction results.

3. Notably, there was excess fat
in both the panty line and hip line,
which were recommended for treatment
along with thigh liposuction.

4. Her buttock folds showed clear asymmetry
between the left and right sides.

5. She also had saddlebag fat accumulation
and a visible hip dip near the trochanteric area,
creating the visual illusion
of shorter-looking legs.

6. From a medical standpoint,
the patient was diagnosed with
orthostatic hypotension (postural low blood pressure).

Based on these factors,
we proposed the following
thigh liposuction surgery plan:

1. We aimed to reduce the overall
thigh volume, which was mostly fat,
to create a visibly slimmer leg contour.

2. Given her knock-knee structure,
we planned to remove fat as thoroughly as possible
from problem areas,
focusing on refining the inner thighs
to improve the overall leg shape.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery
and 5 months after thigh liposuction.

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]
Treatment Area: Thighs, Hip Line
Liposuction Volume: 5,750cc

To achieve a slimmer leg silhouette,
the patient underwent thigh liposuction
along with hip line liposuction,
with the goal of creating straight,
lean legs free of excess fat.

Although she did not receive
a hip dip correction via fat grafting
to further enhance the curves
of a feminine lower body,

the 3-month post-op photos show
clear improvement in the leg shape.
Through targeted fat removal of the
saddlebags, inner thighs, and overall thighs,
combined with hip line contouring,

the result was a more elongated appearance
and a visibly smoother lower body line—
even without additional volume augmentation.

While it will take more time
for the final result to fully settle,
we advised the patient to continue
wearing compression garments
and follow our structured aftercare program
to help ensure long-lasting, slim leg contours
until the six-month mark.
