The patient had a height of 158cm, weight of 56kg,
and a BMI of 22.4.
She was an upcoming bride with her wedding scheduled in a few months.

As her important day approached,
she chose liposuction surgery
to address her weight concerns quickly,
and visited our clinic for a consultation.

She wanted a slimmer upper body
that would look perfect in a wedding dress
with exposed shoulders and arms.

After consultation,
she decided to undergo liposuction
on the arms, armpit area, axillary breast tissue,
and the scapular (shoulder blade) area.

Following her upper body liposuction,
once the bruising and swelling had subsided,
she inquired about additional procedures
for the abdomen, bra line, and mons pubis area,
to achieve a flatter and more sculpted midsection.

The pinch test revealed that the patient had a fat-dominant body type
with low skin elasticity.

It was explained that liposuction on the bra line
could leave some wrinkles due to the skin’s limited elasticity.

We informed the patient about
the limitations on the amount of fat removal
when skin elasticity is poor,
and emphasized the importance of wearing a compression garment
to prevent sagging in the treated areas.

Because patients with poor skin elasticity
may need to wear compression garments for an additional 2–3 months,
we also recommended proper moisturizing care beforehand,
as prolonged compression could lead to skin discoloration.

As with her previous upper body liposuction,
we conducted a preoperative suitability test
to check her blood pressure and bloodwork.

The results showed lower-than-normal blood pressure.

Therefore, we proposed a surgery plan:
to first perform abdominal and mons pubis liposuction,
then schedule the bra line liposuction separately at a later date.

The patient agreed with the surgeon’s plan,
prioritizing fast recovery and surgical safety.

Afterward, she underwent abdominal and mons pubis liposuction,
with a total of 4300cc of fat removed.

For patients with tight wedding schedules,
like this case,
undergoing liposuction before photoshoots and ceremonies
often leads to concerns about bruising, swelling,
and bio-bond formation during the healing process.

Since bruising, swelling, and bio-bonds
naturally take at least three months to subside,
careful planning is essential when preparing for liposuction
to fit a tight event schedule.

Before abdominal liposuction,
the patient’s abdominal area showed signs of loose skin
and an uneven line due to lack of skin elasticity.

Through abdominal liposuction,
fat located between the skin and muscle layers was removed,
creating an empty space that needs to be managed.

Wearing a compression garment consistently
is crucial to help the skin adhere properly to the underlying tissues.

After surgery,
the patient achieved a slimmer, smoother abdominal line,
and expressed high satisfaction with the result.

When treating areas with reduced skin elasticity,
it is important to perform liposuction with delicate design
to prevent sagging.

Additionally,
maintaining skin firmness requires ongoing diet management
and weight control efforts after surgery.
