The impression of body shape
is defined more by balance
than by simple weight.

If fat is concentrated
in the lower body,
legs may look shorter.

With a flat pelvis,
the overall proportion
can feel unbalanced.

Because thighs and calves
have different fat–muscle ratios,
the leg line may look broken,
making legs appear less smooth.

In these cases, simple diet
or exercise alone may not work.
Liposuction with focus on
overall lower body proportion
creates more harmonious results.

Results may vary even for
patients with similar body types.

This patient struggled with
bulky calves for years.
She had tried calf Botox,
but because of both muscle
and fat development,
clear improvement was limited.

During consultation, the patient’s legs
showed excess fat in the thighs,
especially the inner and front thighs.

The inner thighs were tightly stuck,
creating a heavy and constricted
impression overall.

For lower body liposuction,
the degree and shape of muscle
are also very important.

This patient had a slightly developed
rectus femoris (front thigh muscle).
The calves had a thin fat layer
but clearly defined muscles.

Although she was most concerned
about the calves,
reducing calf volume alone
would leave the thigh heaviness,
causing imbalance in
the lower body line.

Thus, the surgical plan included
liposuction of both thighs and calves
for a more natural flow.

A key caution in thigh liposuction
was avoiding overemphasis of the
front thigh muscle line.
To prevent this, a small amount of fat
was left, and suction depth adjusted.

For the calves,
liposuction with Botox was combined
to reduce muscle bulk,
resulting in a lighter lower body contour.

Instead of simple circumference reduction,
a customized approach was designed
to connect thighs and calves
with a natural flow.

At 3 months post-op,
photos revealed how the
thighs and calves
were successfully transformed.

A visible gap formed between the inner thighs,
the front thigh volume was reduced,
and the overall leg line became
much more refined and balanced.

The back thighs and calves also
showed reduced heaviness,
creating a straight, slim silhouette
with a smooth leg contour.

From the side view, the reduced
volume in the front thighs
and calves is clearly visible.

The entire leg line appears lighter,
with improved elasticity and
a smooth, natural flow
without bulges or breaks.

In the patient’s selfie photos,
the reduced volume in thighs
and calves is even more
clearly visible.

Before surgery, the inner thighs touched,
and the protruding calves also pressed
together, making the lower body
look short and heavy.

After combined thigh liposuction
and calf liposuction, these key
problem areas were effectively corrected.
The line from thigh to calf now
flows smoothly in a straight shape,
and the entire lower body looks
lighter, longer, and slimmer.

By refining both the thighs and calves,
this case improved the overall silhouette
and body proportion of the lower body
at the same time.

As mentioned earlier, because the thighs
and calves contain a large amount
of muscle distribution and differ in structure,
it is important to avoid excessive suction.

Instead, focusing on natural connection,
proportional improvement, and
a stable recovery process is key
to achieving high patient satisfaction.
