Many believe the pelvic shape
is fixed by natural bone structure
and cannot be changed later.

For this reason, shapewear products
that fill the pelvic area,
or leggings designed to tighten
the upper hip line,
are commonly used to enhance curves.

Such clothing may show some effect
when wearing crop tops or pants,
but they have limits in creating
a truly natural silhouette.

Even with similar body specs,
results of liposuction may vary.

This patient had maintained
a stable body weight,
but the curve from waist to pelvis
was not smooth, with a slight
hip dip hollow, making her
silhouette look more flat.

She also struggled with excess fat
in the lower abdomen and arms,
which made her upper body
appear heavy and unbalanced.

To address these concerns,
we planned abdominal and arm liposuction
combined with hip dip fat transfer,
creating better curves and
a more three-dimensional contour.

This patient previously underwent thigh liposuction
and arm liposuction at Lesarts Plastic Surgery,
and considered abdominal liposuction
to achieve better body balance.

Because the outer thighs and arms
were slimmed down, the abdominal line
as the body’s center area—appeared heavier,
making her overall silhouette look less balanced.

From the pre-surgery photos and consultation notes,
the hip dip area appeared slightly hollow,
making the curve from waist to pelvis
less smooth and the hip line look flat.

Although the hip dip was not very deep,
adding volume to the pelvic area
with fat transfer could enhance curves
and improve overall body proportions.

The patient was more focused
on improving the body contour lines
rather than just reducing size,
expecting a more complete transformation.

Thus, we planned liposuction for the abdomen,
arms, armpit, and accessory breast fat,
to slim the silhouette and create
a balanced and refined contour.

For the hip dip, we designed fat grafting
to fill the hollow areas naturally,
restoring volume and balance
to the overall body line.

At 3 months after surgery,
before & after photos showed
visible changes in the arms,
abdomen, and hip dip area.

In the upper body, excess fat
in the abdomen and arms
created a heavy, dull impression,
and the connection to the lower body
looked less smooth and balanced.

The hip dip line lacked volume,
making the hip shape appear flat
and giving the overall proportion
a less refined appearance.

After surgery, reduced abdominal
and arm volume made the upper body
contour slimmer, while the filled hip dip
created a natural curve from waist to hips.

Importantly, the added hip volume
blended smoothly without excess,
enhancing the outer hip line
and raising the starting point of the legs,
improving lower body proportions.

Through combined liposuction and fat transfer,
the patient achieved a new sense of balance,
with noticeable size change that improved
confidence even in swimwear
and other summer outfits.

Unnecessary bulk was reduced by liposuction,
and the transferred fat settled well,
resulting in a successful overall
body balance correction case.
