Today’s case involves a patient
with a body type where muscle definition stood out,
and upper arm fat made her frame appear bulkier,
which became her main concern.
To address this, she chose to undergo
arm liposuction,
visiting our clinic to correct the line
into a slim and straight arm
by balancing the upper and lower body
for a more delicate silhouette.
Preoperative body analysis before arm liposuction surgery
confirmed that the patient had a
muscular body type with overall developed muscles.
Fortunately, the patient also had a sufficient
amount of fat to allow for visible contour changes
through arm liposuction,
making the procedure effective in improving arm shape.
To secure space between the arms and torso,
accessory breast and armpit fat liposuction
were planned together with the main procedure.
The surgery was designed to transform her figure
into a delicate and slim appearance,
making her frame look noticeably smaller.
As mentioned earlier,
for patients with high muscle development,
performing high-volume arm liposuction
to achieve a slimmer look
may lead to an undesirable contour,
as the subcutaneous fat layer becomes thinner
and the shape of the arm begins to follow the muscle lines.
We thoroughly explained this to the patient,
and during the procedure,
we intentionally left a small amount of fat
in the curved muscle areas,
so that the muscle definition wouldn’t stand out,
creating a smooth, straight arm line instead.
This approach avoids focusing solely
on reducing circumference and size,
which could result in an unnatural shape,
and instead aims to achieve
a visually straight and refined arm line,
giving the impression of a slimmer and softer figure.

before and after photos
taken one month after the arm liposuction surgery
to compare the results.
Before surgery, when the arms were relaxed and at her sides,
excess fat had accumulated and pushed outward,
creating a rounded, bulging contour.
After arm liposuction, this was refined
into a clean, straight-line silhouette.
Since this photo was taken at 1 month post-op,
some residual swelling remains,
and we expect the arms to look even slimmer
once the swelling fully subsides.
Although the patient did not undergo armpit liposuction,
the combination of arm liposuction
and accessory breast fat removal
significantly improved the bulky appearance,
resulting in a noticeable reduction
in the overall width of the arms.
Arm liposuction not only reduces arm circumference
but also helps create a visually slimmer upper body,
contributing to a more delicate and
feminine overall impression.
Because the patient had a body type with overall muscle development,
we focused on enhancing the arm line
rather than performing high-volume liposuction.
Before surgery, we conducted thorough consultations
to plan a procedure tailored to her desired contour,
and thanks to her diligent cooperation with post-op care,
she achieved a highly satisfactory outcome
despite her muscular physique.
Although it will take a few more months
for all residual swelling to subside
and reveal the final result,
we expect that with continued
diet and exercise management,
she will be able to maintain
