As summer approaches and clothes become
lighter and more revealing,
many women rush into arm fat diets
to slim down their visible upper arms.

However, short-term efforts often fall short,
and a growing number of patients turn to
arm liposuction
to restore their pre-weight gain silhouette.

Rather than simply aiming to remove
the maximum volume of fat,
it’s important to understand the key areas
that make the arms appear long and slim.
This ensures that arm liposuction is performed
with proportion and aesthetic balance in mind.

Fat surrounding the arms—including
the axillary area and accessory breast tissue
can make the upper body appear wider and bulkier.
A detailed body contouring plan is essential
to deliver more elegant, feminine results.

To achieve truly refined results,
fat-dominant upper body types
often benefit from combining
full arm liposuction
with liposuction of the connecting areas,
such as the armpits or side chest,
to create a smoother and more
balanced upper body silhouette.

Although these additional zones are optional,
they play an important role in
enhancing the natural arm line,
so patients can consider them
without feeling pressured.

The patient featured in this case
underwent arm liposuction
along with surrounding upper body liposuction
to improve proportion and symmetry.

Even among patients with similar body types,
liposuction outcomes may vary by individual.

Let’s take a look at the transformation
through her before-and-after photos below.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient presented with the following characteristics:

1.She had a fat-dominant body type
with low muscle mass.
As a result, arm liposuction was expected
to produce a significant improvement
in both volume reduction and contour.

2.Despite gaining approximately 6kg
over the past year,
she retained moderate skin elasticity,
which was favorable for recovery.

3.Notably, there was sufficient fat volume
in the accessory breast tissue
and axillary area (underarms),
making those areas ideal for inclusion
in the upper body liposuction plan.

Based on this evaluation,
we proposed the following arm liposuction plan:

1.Perform arm liposuction
in combination with accessory breast
and axillary fat removal,
with the goal of creating a slimmer, straighter arm line
for a more refined silhouette.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery
and 5 months after arm liposuction.

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]
Treatment Areas: Arms, Accessory breast tissue, Axillary area
Liposuction Volume: 1,800cc

This patient underwent arm liposuction
along with accessory breast and underarm fat removal
to reduce excess upper body volume
and sculpt a more proportional, slender arm line.

In the photos taken 5 months post-op,
we can observe a noticeable difference
in arm width when the arms are relaxed by her sides.
Preoperatively, the arms pushed outward,
making the upper body appear bulkier.

After a full recovery period of 5 months,
the arms now appear much slimmer and straighter.
From the front, the improved vertical arm silhouette
is the result of comprehensive fat removal
from the inner and outer arms,
as well as the axillary area.
This allowed the arms to naturally rest
closer to the torso.

From the side, the once wide and bulky appearance
of the upper arms has softened,
visually narrowing the entire upper body.

This case demonstrates that even arm liposuction
combined with targeted upper body fat removal
can significantly improve overall body proportions,
resulting in a more compact and refined silhouette
without altering body weight.
