Today, we’ll talk about what women
with lower body obesity
should consider when planning for
thigh liposuction.

The goal of thigh liposuction
is not simply to reduce volume
in targeted areas as much as possible,
but to sculpt a balanced silhouette
that makes the legs look slimmer and longer.

So rather than focusing on someone else’s body,
those considering thigh liposuction
should start by understanding
their own unique body proportions.

The key is to restore overall balance
and correct areas of concern
through a personalized liposuction plan
that highlights your natural shape.

The patient in this case
experienced a rapid weight gain,
which significantly increased
the size of her thighs.

With strategic fat removal,
we planned the position and volume
of liposuction to create a more balanced
and visually elongated leg line.

Let’s take a look at the before-and-after photos
to see how much of a change
thigh liposuction can bring.

[Patient Info]

Age: Late 20s

Occupation: Office worker

Height: 163 cm

Weight: 55 kg

BMI: 21

Even with a similar body type,
results from liposuction may vary.

This patient had a classic
lower body obesity profile.

She gained around 9 kg
over just three months,
causing stubborn fat to accumulate
on the inner thighs and outer thighs
(saddlebag area).

According to the body analysis,
this patient had a fat-dominant lower body,
with fat accumulation focused
in the upper thigh region.

In the outer thighs,
muscle development was moderate,
so we anticipated that the results
might not appear dramatic after liposuction.

However, because there was
a significant amount of fat
throughout the thighs,
we expected a visible difference
from the overall procedure.

There was also noticeable fat
around the inner knees
and chanel line,
causing an unnatural curve
at the mid-point of the legs,
which made the legs appear shorter
than they actually were.

The patient’s skin elasticity
was generally low,
and we anticipated that
the calves may appear larger
after surgery due to changes
in the upper leg contour.

We therefore proposed
the following thigh liposuction plan:

To create a slimmer leg line
by reducing thigh volume,

1. Perform line-focused liposuction
on the outer thighs with more muscle mass,

2. Target both volume and contouring
on the inner thighs and chanel line,
where fat is more prominent,
to straighten and elongate
the overall leg shape.

3. As the thinner thighs
might make the calves look relatively larger,
we also recommended calf Botox
in conjunction with thigh liposuction.

Below is a comparison photo
taken before and 3 months
after the procedure.

[Surgery Area & Fat Volume Removed]
Surgery area: Thighs
Total fat removed: 2600cc

This patient underwent thigh liposuction
to balance her lower body with her upper half,
but her goal was not extremely skinny legs.

Instead, she preferred a look that preserved
feminine curves and healthy proportions,
aiming for natural beauty over extreme thinness.

Although she did not opt for additional treatments
like chanel line liposuction or calf Botox,
which could have further emphasized leg length,

the results after 3 months clearly show
that contouring just the saddlebag area
and inner thighs alone
led to a noticeably straighter,
longer-looking leg line.

However, as previously mentioned,
her skin elasticity had decreased
due to rapid weight gain
in the 3 months before surgery.

To prevent sagging or wrinkling
in the empty spaces left behind by fat removal,
we strongly advised her to wear
a compression garment
for more than 3 months—longer than average—

and to continue diligent aftercare
until at least the 6-month mark,
when final results become more visible.
