Before a special occasion,
the more time you spend looking at yourself
in the mirror,
the more you start to notice
the small details
you may have previously overlooked.

Upper arm fat, back fat
(bra line, scapular area),
and the excess fat around the armpits,
which are usually hidden under clothing,
can make the overall impression dull
and the body silhouette heavier,
even if your body weight
is not particularly high.

When wearing a dress,
the arms and back line exposed
can create a much bigger difference
in appearance from the back view
than from the front or side.
For brides-to-be,
this becomes a key factor
that defines the entire image,
rather than simply being a matter of size.

The patient we are introducing
through these before-and-after photos
is a bride-to-be
who wished to improve her arms
and upper body line
one year before her wedding.

Although she had always maintained
a slim figure,
she gained more than 10kg
over the past year.
This led to an increase in upper arm fat
and back fat,
which not only changed her body shape
but also altered her overall image.

In particular, upper arm fat, back fat
(bra line, scapular area),
and armpit bulges
caused the shoulder line
to drop heavily when wearing clothes,
making her overall impression look heavier.

She mentioned that while she sometimes
felt fine looking in the mirror,
checking her back view in photos or videos
made her realize her frame looked larger
than she thought.

Concerned about how her back view
would appear while walking down the aisle
and during the ceremony,
she decided to undergo upper arm
and back liposuction
to refine her silhouette for the wedding.

During the consultation,
we found that the patient had fat distribution
covering the entire upper arm,
accessory breast area, armpits,
bra line, and scapular region.
Recent weight gain had also increased
the overall upper body volume.

In particular, the area from the back of the arms
to the upper back showed thick bulges
without a clear line,
which added to the heaviness
of the shoulders, arms, armpits, and back.

Although the deltoid muscles
were somewhat developed,
they were covered by a thick fat layer
over the upper arms.
This created a heavier, wider appearance
from both the front and back,
rather than a sleek or athletic look.

The accessory breast and armpit bulges
were also pronounced,
making the flow from the arms
to the upper body sides look thick and segmented.
This shortened the arm appearance,
gave the impression of an outward flare,
and affected both overall fit
and the wedding dress silhouette.

Based on this, we planned
the following arm liposuction
and back liposuction procedures:

1. 360° Arm Liposuction

Evenly remove fat from the front, back, and sides
to create straight, refined arms.

-Smoothly connect the deltoid shape
to the shoulder and upper arm line.

Focus on reducing the thick inner arms
and backward bulges.

2. Accessory Breast & Armpit Liposuction

– Remove excess tissue
that thickens the side chest line.

-Slim the armpit area to create space
for the arms to rest closer to the body.

3. Scapular & Bra Line Liposuction

-Remove upper back and bra line bulges.

-Improve the heaviness of the back view and side profile.

-Achieve a refined back contour for wedding dress wear.

Additionally, the patient had slight arm asymmetry,
so we carefully adjusted fat removal volume
to ensure balanced results.

Below are the before-and-after photos
taken approximately 4 months after surgery,
showing changes in the back view
and arm lines.

Before surgery, the patient had fat accumulation
around the arms, back, and armpit area,
which made the upper body look large
and broad in build.

By performing arm liposuction together with
bra line, armpit, and scapular area contouring,
it was possible to transform the upper body
into a slimmer and more delicate silhouette.

After arm and back liposuction,
the before-and-after photos taken
from various angles show that
the previously thick upper arms
were refined into a straight arm shape,
with the body width noticeably reduced
in the back view.

By also performing armpit liposuction,
the arms now rest naturally closer
to the body,
and the shoulder-arm boundary
has become sharp at a right angle.
Bra line and scapular liposuction
brought out smoother curves,
giving the back a lighter, more refined look.

This allowed the patient
to feel more confident wearing
a wedding dress,
and she could also enjoy wearing
a variety of everyday outfits
without hesitation.

Rather than aiming for
maximum fat removal to reduce size,
we performed customized liposuction
to create beautiful balance and flow
from shoulder to arm
and arm to armpit to back.
This approach achieved natural results
aligned with the patient’s goals.

Post-surgery, the patient maintained
RF therapy and balance injections
through our aftercare program,
along with a controlled diet
and regular exercise
to support recovery and maintenance.

With consistent effort,
she is expected to confidently
show off a beautiful wedding dress look
and enjoy an even more refined silhouette
in daily life.
