Hip dip fat transfer

Right: 150cc / Left: 150cc

Even with a slim frame,
some people feel their lower body
looks bulky or unbalanced
when wearing clothes,
making their silhouette appear awkward.

This heaviness is not about weight—
it often stems from poor proportions
and an unrefined bodyline.

Common issues include excess inner thigh fat,
sunken hip dips, and noticeable saddlebags,
which disrupt the flow of the leg contour.

Even if your body size is small,
a lack of proportional harmony
can make you appear heavier
and create a blunt leg shape.

That’s why many people consider
liposuction and fat transfer
not just for slimming,
but for improving body balance
and enhancing silhouette flow.

Let’s see how these procedures
can help create a refined lower body line
by removing stubborn fat
and restoring curves where needed.

[Patient Information]
Age: Mid-30s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 165cm
Weight: 55kg
BMI: 20
Results may vary even
for patients with similar specs.

This patient maintained a slim figure,
but despite consistent exercise,
the inner thigh fat, uneven leg line,
and visible hip dips and saddlebags
showed little improvement,
leaving her feeling disappointed.

She especially felt the need
to enhance her lower body shape
as she was preparing for her wedding,
which led her to visit our clinic
for thigh liposuction and
hip dip fat transfer.

After analyzing the patient’s body shape
prior to surgery, we found that fat was concentrated
mainly in the lower body,
with clearly defined areas
where liposuction was needed.

She had a history of inner thigh fat harvesting
done at another clinic a year ago
for facial fat grafting,
which led to adhesion and reduced skin elasticity.

As a result, the inner thighs appeared uneven,
with noticeable wrinkling,
requiring contour correction.

In addition, the hip dip area lacked volume
and had a hollow appearance,
making the outer thigh bulge more noticeable
and disrupting the smooth transition
between the pelvis and thighs.

This also created the illusion
of a lower leg starting point,
resulting in a silhouette that lacked
a sleek and proportional lower body line.

When thigh fat and hip dips coexist,
liposuction alone may not be sufficient
to create an ideal leg shape.

We therefore planned a procedure
that combined thigh liposuction
with hip dip fat transfer
removing unnecessary fat
and filling in volume-deficient areas
for a more balanced figure.

Let’s now take a look at the results
captured 1 month after the combined procedures
to see how the leg lines were transformed.

Through thigh liposuction and hip dip fat transfer,
the patient achieved a natural transformation
into the slim, balanced leg line she desired.

Before surgery, she had little to no gap
between the thighs due to inner thigh fat,
with uneven lines caused by partial adhesion.

The hip dip area lacked volume,
causing her lower body to appear
short and unrefined overall.

At 1.5 months post-op,
fat in both the inner and outer thighs
had been effectively removed,
creating a clear thigh gap
and refining the saddlebag area.

With the added volume to the hip dips
via fat transfer, the line from the pelvis to thigh
now flows smoothly and naturally.

The starting point of the legs also shifted upward,
creating a visual illusion of longer legs
a proportional shaping effect.

As mentioned earlier,
our surgical goal for this patient
was not just to remove saddle fat
or create a thigh gap,

but to design an ideal lower body ratio
that looks balanced from every angle—
a true 360-degree contouring approach.

The selfie taken 2 weeks after surgery
clearly shows the improved body proportions.

The inner and outer thigh fat was precisely contoured
into smooth, even lines without irregularities,
and a clean thigh gap formed,
enhancing the shape of her legs.

Through hip dip fat transfer,
the pelvic line became more feminine
and gained a natural 3D volume.

The patient also expressed satisfaction
with the smoother overall line
and the lifted starting point of her legs,
which made the lower body appear longer.

Although she was still in the recovery phase
with some swelling and biobond residue remaining,
these early improvements alone showed
a highly positive outcome so far.

We expect her results to continue refining
into a more natural and toned silhouette.
