For women, stubborn fat can be a major source of stress—
regardless of overall body weight.

Fat that accumulates on areas like the upper arms
often leads people to wear long, loose sleeves
to hide the contours.

Among these, Jeogori fat (the under-arm bulge beneath the triceps)
is especially hard to target through exercise.
Even with consistent arm workouts,
this area rarely improves into a toned shape—
making it one of the top aesthetic concerns.

That’s why many women choose
arm liposuction to reduce the volume
and sculpt the line of the Jeogori fat and upper arm bulge.

However, just having fat in the area
does not guarantee satisfying results from liposuction.

Pre-surgical consultation with a medical team is essential—
analyzing the patient’s body type, fat volume, and muscle mass
to define the goal and method
is the key to a successful outcome.

Even with similar body stats,
results from liposuction surgery may vary depending on the individual.

In this arm liposuction in Korea case,
the patient’s pre-op photos show that
when she placed her arms close to the torso,
excess arm fat pushed outward,
making her upper body look bulkier than her actual frame.

This visual imbalance was a key concern for her.
She visited Lesarts Plastic Surgery
in search of a more natural and delicate arm contour,
and ultimately decided to undergo arm liposuction
to achieve slimmer, more graceful lines.

Preoperative body analysis for arm liposuction
revealed not only the patient’s primary concern—
underarm bulge (jeogori fat)
but also fat in the armpits that prevented full arm closure,
making her upper body look broader than it actually was.

In addition, accessory breast fat that extended
past the side of the bra cup made the overall
upper body silhouette appear heavier and less defined.

A slight decrease in skin elasticity was observed,
so we advised that combining accessory breast liposuction
might carry a risk of postoperative wrinkling in that area.

Although the patient had a generally high fat volume
in the upper body, she also showed moderate muscle development,
which meant it would be difficult to achieve
an extremely thin or bony appearance in the arms.

To create a naturally slim arm contour
without overexposing the underlying muscle line,
we recommended a surgical design that left a small layer of fat
along the outer edge of the deltoid,
so the muscle would not appear too prominent.

You can now see the refined arm shape
in medical photos taken 5 months after arm liposuction surgery.

The patient underwent arm liposuction
along with armpit and accessory breast fat removal,
which not only slimmed the arms
but also reduced the overall upper body width,
creating a noticeably more balanced silhouette.

In particular, the underarm bulge (jeogori fat)
that had been her biggest concern pre-surgery
was refined in harmony with the lower arm balance,
bringing her closer to a natural straight-arm shape.

Because the patient had reduced skin elasticity
and relatively high muscle mass,
we avoided maximum-volume suction
and instead focused on line-sculpting
to highlight her natural shape
through arm liposuction in Korea.

Rather than attempting an aggressive approach,
this procedure aimed to minimize weaknesses
while enhancing strengths—
resulting in a highly satisfying outcome.

Given the lower skin elasticity,
consistent compression garment use was essential
to prevent sagging in areas where fat had been removed.

We also recommended that after the initial recovery stage,
she combine a healthy diet and regular exercise
to further maximize the benefits of surgery.

Since the localized fat was well addressed,
we expect even more noticeable improvement
if she continues to manage her routine consistently.
