Tummy Tuck in Korea Before & After – 4 Month Recovery & Scar Care Review

Poltayeoni

I had my tummy tuck
on December 1st,
and somehow it has already been
131 days!

Time really passed quickly
while staying busy with daily life.

Today I visited the clinic
for my 4-month check-up
and post-op care treatment.

I had my surgery
with Dr. Kukhan Lee
at Lesarts Plastic Surgery.

As always,
he was sweet and meticulous^^
I feel good every time
I see him.

He told me
that both my scar
and recovery progress
look very good
for only 4 months post-op.

There are no raised scars
or stretched areas,
and the redness
has faded a lot.

He said that
if I continue managing it this way,
the result will become
even better^^

My scar care tip is…
honestly just following
exactly what the clinic recommended.

I wore the compression garment
for as long as instructed,
and kept applying
the scar tape continuously
as advised.

I mainly used Mepiform,
and whenever the adhesive weakened
and needed replacement,

I removed it for about a day,
kept the area moisturized well,
then applied
the scar tape again.

Other than that,
I simply continued
daily activities and exercise^^

I restarted exercising
again in March,
and now even backbend movements
are manageable without difficulty.

Of course,
I am not doing
extreme backbends.

I am also trying hard
not to gain weight~

Now I can finally wear
the cropped blouses
I bought long ago
without embarrassmentㅋㅋ

I even bought
low-rise jeans????

I’m also extremely satisfied
with how beautifully
my belly button was created.

Inside the belly button,
there is still
a little remaining scar tissue
from a previous laparoscopic surgery,

but I understand
that part couldn’t really be avoided,
so I accepted it.

The doctor told me
that scar healing
continues up to 20 months.

He also said
that from at least 6 months
to 1 year,
consistent scar care
can significantly affect
the final result.

So I plan to continue
taking scar management seriously
until the 1-year mark!

Before surgery,
the doctor told me
that tummy tuck surgery means
trading sagging abdominal skin
for a scar,

and I think
that was absolutely true.

I feel that
the scar is something
I simply need to accept.

But in exchange,
I gained a smooth abdomen,
so I truly believe
having the surgery
was one of the best decisions
I ever made.

Since it is such a major surgery,
I think choosing the right clinic
is extremely important.

I want to compliment myself
for choosing Lesarts.
