The modern approach to dieting
focuses more on balanced nutrition
and consistent exercise throughout the year
than simply reducing fat in specific areas.

When maintained steadily,
such a lifestyle not only helps one
get closer to their ideal body shape,
but also supports the increasingly popular goal
of slow aging and long-term health.

As body fat cells shrink in size,
you may naturally experience a reduction in body volume
and even some weight loss.

However, when it comes to improving one’s visible silhouette
the so-called “mirror body” effect—
or sculpting specific areas like the thighs,
there are limits to what self-managed efforts can achieve.

This is why many people turn to liposuction,
which reduces not just the size but
the actual number of fat cells in targeted areas.

Today’s featured patient maintained
a healthy lifestyle and consistent diet,
but struggled to slim her thighs,
so she came to Lesarts for a solution
through thigh liposuction.

Let’s take a look at her before-and-after photos
to see how her body changed after
removing the concentrated thigh fat.

[Patient Profile]

Age: Late 20s
Occupation: Service industry
Height: 170cm
Weight: 57kg
BMI: 20

※ Results may vary even with similar body types.

This patient had a lower-body dominant shape,
with disproportionately thick thighs
compared to her upper body.
Despite consistent efforts to slim down,
she hadn’t seen significant changes
until turning to liposuction.

Based on the body type diagnosis,
this patient had a significant volume of fat
across the entire thigh area,
indicating that thigh liposuction
would deliver highly visible results.

However, her quadriceps (front thigh muscles)
were notably developed.
If too much fat were removed from this area,
the muscle lines could appear too prominent,
disrupting the smooth look of the leg contour.

Additionally, there was noticeable heaviness
in the central and lower outer buttocks,
which contributed to a weighed-down hip line.
Therefore, we recommended combining
thigh liposuction with hip line liposuction
to improve overall shape and connection.

We also observed a hip dip
a hollow area near the outer hip bone—
that created a shorter and uneven appearance
from the front view.
To correct this, we proposed a
fat transfer to the hip dip zone.

Based on this, we planned the surgery as follows:

1.Perform full thigh liposuction
to address disproportionate thigh volume
and improve upper-lower body balance.

2.Leave a small amount of fat in the front thigh,
as the quadriceps were well-developed,
to prevent harsh muscle outlines and
maintain a smooth, natural contour.

3.Use hip line liposuction
to reduce excess fat in the buttocks,
creating a slimmer and lifted gluteal shape
that flows naturally into the thighs.

4.Perform hip dip fat grafting
to correct the sunken outer hip area,
which made her legs appear shorter
and more curved from the front.

5.Finally, due to the slimmer thighs post-liposuction,
the calves appeared more prominent,
so we recommended calf Botox
to harmonize the full leg line.

Below are the before-and-after photos
taken two weeks after thigh liposuction surgery.

[Surgical Area and Fat Volume Removed]

Surgical areas: Thighs, hip line, calf Botox
Fat volume removed: 4,200cc

This patient underwent thigh liposuction
and hip line liposuction to remove stubborn fat
that was difficult to reduce through dieting alone.
The goal was to achieve a slimmer figure
and improve upper-lower body balance.

Although a hip dip correction via fat grafting
was initially considered, the patient ultimately declined.
Instead, we focused on reshaping the hip line
and targeting the saddlebags through
precise liposuction to address the concavity.

Two weeks post-surgery, progress photos show
that the thigh fat was removed in a way
that maintained body symmetry.
The hip dip is no longer prominent,
and the overall leg line has transitioned
into the patient’s desired straight-leg silhouette.

As seen in the selfies provided by the patient,
even in the early recovery phase with
bruising, swelling, and BioBond still present,
her legs already appeared longer
compared to the pre-surgery photos.

In a photo taken around 4 months post-op,
there was no visible trace of her
previously bulky quadriceps shape.
Her legs had transformed into a
straight and slim silhouette,
clearly showing the success of the procedure.

If she continues with the same
consistent diet and exercise habits
she practiced before,
we expect her to maintain and even improve
a healthier, more refined body shape over time.
