For many women who have attempted dieting,
the thighs are often considered
the most difficult area
to reduce body fat.

This is because the thighs contain
a mix of both fat and muscle,
making it challenging to lose only fat
through short-term dieting.

In fact, extreme dieting
can lead to skin sagging
and muscle loss,
making the thighs a high-risk area
for imbalance without proper care.

When repeated dieting fails,
many patients turn to
thigh liposuction as an effective alternative.

Recently, more women are seeking
inner thigh gaps
preferring legs that don’t touch
when standing with feet together.

The inner thighs are also a common concern
due to chafing and skin irritation,
which affects both appearance and comfort,
especially in daily life.

However, following trends blindly
and undergoing thigh liposuction
without considering body proportions
can lead to complications or dissatisfaction.

That’s why it is crucial to undergo
a thorough body analysis and consultation
to determine the right amount of fat to remove—
ensuring natural harmony
from the thighs to the waistline.

The patient featured in today’s case
had a lower-body dominant figure,
and successfully reshaped her thighs
through balanced fat removal,
resulting in a smoother, more even silhouette.

Let’s take a closer look at her transformation
through the before-and-after comparison below.

Patient Information
Age: Late teens
Occupation: Student
Height: 168 cm
Weight: 62 kg
BMI: 21

Even among patients with similar body types,
liposuction outcomes may vary by individual.

This patient had a lower body fat distribution,
with most of her concerns focused on the saddlebags,
which had long caused her emotional stress.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient presented with the following characteristics:

1.She had good skin elasticity
and a moderate amount of muscle mass.

2.She had a fat-dominant lower body,
with overall high fat volume in the thighs.

3.Notably, a large amount of fat
was concentrated in the saddlebag area,
and the hip line also had sufficient fat
for removal.
We recommended including the hip line
as part of the thigh liposuction plan.

4.From a health perspective,
she had iron deficiency due to heavy menstruation
and was already taking iron supplements.

Based on this assessment,
we proposed the following thigh liposuction plan:

1.Perform thigh liposuction
along with hip line liposuction
to reduce the weight of the buttocks,
slim down the thigh contour,
and prevent buttock sagging
achieving a more lifted and balanced lower body.

2.Since a large fat volume
was expected to be removed,
we first conducted a preoperative health screening
to evaluate the patient’s overall condition.
We also advised her to continue iron supplementation
before surgery,
to support a stable recovery
and maintain safe surgical conditions.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery
and 5 months after thigh liposuction.

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]
Treatment Areas: Thighs, Hip line
Liposuction Volume: 6,200cc

The patient underwent thigh liposuction
and hip line liposuction
to remove fat concentrated in the lower body,
with the goal of achieving a smooth leg line
with a visible thigh gap.

As seen in the photos taken 5 months post-op,
fat distributed throughout the thighs
was removed evenly and precisely,
resulting in a straight, sculpted leg contour.

In addition, prior to surgery,
the lower body appeared shorter
due to fat accumulation around the buttocks
and hip area.
By combining hip line liposuction,
the patient also benefited from a lifting effect,
preventing buttock sagging
and achieving a more balanced silhouette
from hip to thigh.

For this patient,
maintaining the newly sculpted shape
will depend on a consistent routine
of healthy eating and regular exercise,
helping to prevent weight rebound
and preserve long-term results.
