For women with lower body obesity,
thigh fat is often difficult to improve
through diet and exercise alone,
which is why many choose to undergo
thigh liposuction.

During consultations, we often hear patients say
they wish to have thigh gaps
the look where inner thighs don’t touch
even when standing with legs together.

The thigh area is home to large muscles,
with uneven fat distribution,
and is also prone to cellulite formation.

This makes it essential to create a surgical plan
that balances the entire lower body
while considering each patient’s unique body shape.

The patient featured in today’s thigh liposuction case
wanted to address stubborn thigh fat
and achieve a defined thigh gap.

Let’s take a closer look at her before and after photos
to see how her concerns were improved
through thigh liposuction.

[Patient Information]

Age: Early 20s

Occupation: Office worker

Height: 160cm

Weight: 51kg

BMI: 20

*Note: Even with similar body types,
liposuction results may vary.

This patient had a generally slim figure,
but struggled with stubborn fat in the inner thighs,
which caused her significant stress.

Body analysis revealed the following traits:

1. The patient had a fat-dominant body type,
with low muscle mass and relatively high fat volume.

2. Her skin elasticity was good,
which indicated a favorable outcome from liposuction.

3. Fat was concentrated in the inner thighs,
including the inner knees (Chanel line),
causing the legs to appear curved in the middle
rather than falling in a straight line.

This resulted in a visual shortening effect,
making her legs appear shorter than their actual length.

Based on this, we proposed the following
thigh liposuction surgical plan:

1. Perform liposuction on the inner thighs
and Chanel line (inner knees)
to sculpt a straight, balanced thigh line
and create the appearance of a thigh gap.

This would help visually elongate the legs
and improve overall lower body proportion.

Below is a comparison photo taken before surgery
and 2 weeks after thigh liposuction.
(Red line – before, Yellow line – 1.5 months after)

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]

– Areas treated: Inner thighs, inner knees (Chanel line)

– Fat removed: 1,000cc

This patient aimed to enhance her lower body balance
by reshaping her thighs through inner thigh liposuction
combined with Chanel line (inner knee) fat removal.

The goal was to create a slim, straight leg line
with a visible thigh gap.

At 1.5 months post-op, the photos show
that fat concentrated in the inner thighs and inner knees
has been effectively reduced,
resulting in a cleaner, more contoured lower body.

The curve between the thighs and calves,
which previously made the legs look shorter,
has been smoothed out, creating the appearance
of longer, straighter legs.

While full results take a few more months to appear,
the areas of concern have already shown
notable improvement.

We advised the patient to continue:

Wearing compression garments
Applying scar ointment
Following post-op care guidelines

These steps will help ensure
optimal final results.
