In cases where fat cells have accumulated
in the thighs over a long period of time,
cellulite often forms,
making it difficult to reduce volume
through diet and exercise alone.

Even when combining workouts with calorie control,
thigh fat is slow to respond—
and increasing workout intensity
can sometimes lead to enlarged thigh muscles
or fat loss in unintended areas of the body.

Because of this, many patients choose
thigh liposuction as an alternative to dieting.
It offers targeted fat removal
and has a lower risk of weight rebound
compared to traditional methods.

For optimal results,
a proper surgical plan should be designed
based on each patient’s muscle development,
fat distribution, and overall lower body balance.

The patient featured today
had excess fat concentrated
in the inner thigh and saddlebag area.
Through thigh liposuction,
she successfully achieved a slimmer leg contour.

Let’s take a closer look
at her transformation
through the before-and-after photos below.

Patient Information
Age: Early 30s
Height: 168 cm
Weight: 60 kg
BMI: 21

Even among patients with similar body specs,
liposuction outcomes may vary by individual.

This patient experienced stress and dissatisfaction
due to concentrated fat deposits
in both the inner and outer thighs.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient had the following characteristics:

1.She had a fat-dominant body type
with a high volume of fat throughout the thighs,
and a moderate level of muscle mass.

2.Fat was particularly concentrated
in the inner thighs
and the upper saddlebag area.

3.After thigh liposuction,
the reduction in fat volume
could potentially make the hamstring muscles
more prominent in the back of the thigh.

Based on these findings,
we proposed the following thigh liposuction plan:

1. We planned targeted liposuction
focusing on the inner thighs
and upper saddlebags,
to create a slimmer, more refined leg contour.

2. However, since excessive fat removal
could accentuate the hamstring definition,
we opted for a contour-focused approach
to maintain balance while slimming the legs.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery
and 1 month after thigh liposuction.

Treatment Area: Thighs
Liposuction Volume: 2,800cc

This patient had a lower body dominant figure,
with fat concentrated in the inner thighs
and saddlebag area,
which caused discomfort in daily life.

The goal of the procedure
was to remove as much localized fat as possible
to achieve a slimmer, sculpted thigh contour.

As seen in the photos taken 1 month after surgery,
we successfully targeted the patient’s main concerns—
the inner thighs and saddlebags
resulting in a clean, balanced lower body line.

Additionally, the patient had a
well-developed hamstring region.

To avoid excessive muscle definition,
we performed a contour-focused liposuction technique,
which resulted in a visibly slimmer back thigh profile.

For patients with strong muscle definition,
it is a misconception that liposuction
may not be effective.
Instead, with detailed preoperative consultation
and a surgical plan tailored
to highlight the patient’s natural frame,
satisfying outcomes can still be achieved.
