Weight-loss success stories are not hard to find,
but many still struggle with stubborn thigh fat
that won’t go away despite strict workouts
and a clean chicken breast-based diet.
This persistent fat often causes stress,
making it difficult to stay motivated.

In many cases, daily discomfort like thigh chafing
or failure to achieve a defined thigh line
leads to giving up on dieting altogether.
This can trigger rebound weight gain,
prompting more people to turn to
thigh liposuction for visible results.

To safely achieve a slimmer leg contour,
a thorough body type consultation is essential
before surgery to assess fat volume,
skin elasticity, and treatment limits.
Removing too much fat can harm balance,
causing skin sagging or uneven textures.

Today’s case review features a patient
with thin, low-elasticity skin
and a fat-storing lower body type.
She underwent thigh liposuction
to achieve a more refined silhouette.
Let’s take a closer look at her results.

[Patient Information]

Age: Mid-20s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 160 cm
Weight: 53 kg
BMI: 21

Results may vary even with similar physical profiles.

She was concerned about her legs looking short
due to excess fat stored throughout her thighs.
The fat-storing lower body type made it difficult
to achieve a balanced and elongated silhouette,
even with consistent workouts and dieting.
This imbalance in the thigh contour
was a key reason for considering liposuction.

According to the patient’s body type analysis,
she had low muscle mass and a fat-storing lower body,
meaning a large volume of fat was expected to be removed.
Because of this, we anticipated a dramatic transformation
through thigh liposuction.

In particular, her inner thigh skin was thin
and showed reduced elasticity,
raising the risk of sagging or fine wrinkles
if too much fat were removed from that area.
This was clearly explained to the patient in advance.

Based on the evaluation, we proposed
a customized thigh liposuction plan:

1.Reduce volume from both the inner and outer thighs
to create a smooth, straight leg line
with visible thigh gap and contour refinement.

2.For the inner thighs,
our approach focused on maintaining skin firmness
and avoiding a “stubby leg” appearance,
while minimizing the risk of skin sagging.

Below are the comparison photos
taken before the surgery and 1 month after
thigh liposuction.

[Surgical Areas and Volume]
Surgery area: Thighs
Fat volume removed: 4,200cc

The patient aimed to achieve a slim and delicate leg contour
by evenly reducing overall thigh volume
through thigh liposuction.

During the consultation, we noted that
compared to other patients, she had less skin elasticity,
which could limit the smoothness of her final silhouette.

However, in photos taken 1 month after surgery,
her inner thigh fat was reduced cleanly and evenly,
resulting in a visible thigh gap and refined contour.
Despite the initial concern, there was no sagging or wrinkling,
and the thighs appeared smooth and well-balanced.

As seen in the selfies provided by the patient,
her thigh contour has become smoother and straighter
over time, making her legs look longer and more refined.
The continued reduction of residual swelling
is expected to further improve the final outcome
and increase overall satisfaction.

As mentioned earlier, this patient had lower skin elasticity
compared to others, raising concerns about
wrinkles or sagging in the space
left after fat removal.
To minimize these risks,
we advised her to wear compression garments consistently
and maintain intensive moisturizing care
throughout the 6-month recovery period,
which is the time frame in which
final results are typically judged.
