In cases where excess fat accumulates in the thighs,
it can lead to both aesthetic concerns
and discomfort in daily life.
Many women with lower body obesity
consider procedures like thigh liposuction
or fat-dissolving injections
to resolve these issues.

Unlike injections that break down fat
in localized areas, thigh liposuction uses a cannula
to physically remove the fat from the body—
making it more effective for fat-dominant body types.

Though the recovery period may be longer,
the results of liposuction are often more significant,
especially in cases of thick, diet-resistant thighs.

For those considering this surgery,
it’s important to consult thoroughly with a surgeon
and create a personalized plan
that matches your body type and lifestyle.

This featured patient had a fat-based lower body,
and gained about 7kg over one year.
Despite consistent effort with thigh workouts
and fat-dissolving injections,
she struggled with disproportionate thighs
that resisted change through non-surgical means.

With thigh liposuction,
she achieved a slimmer and more balanced silhouette.
You can see her transformation
in the before-and-after photos below.

[Patient Information]

Age: Late 20s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 166cm
Weight: 62kg
BMI: 22

*Even with similar stats,
liposuction results may vary by individual.

This patient had a lower-body dominant shape,
with thicker thighs and unbalanced proportions
between her upper and lower body.
She tried workouts and fat-dissolving injections
but struggled with stubborn fat that
would not respond to non-surgical methods,
causing significant stress and body dissatisfaction.

Based on her body analysis,
this patient had a fat-dominant lower body,
with a high fat ratio and limited muscle mass.
We anticipated noticeable improvement
in both thigh volume and leg contour
with thigh liposuction.

However, her skin elasticity was moderately reduced,
meaning careful technique would be required
to prevent irregularities after fat removal.

Additionally, there was sufficient fat volume
in the hip line and panty line areas,
making them ideal candidates for combined treatment
to improve the overall balance of the lower body.

We proposed the following surgical plan:

1.Perform thigh and hip line liposuction together
to reduce thigh size while maintaining buttock lift,
correcting lower body imbalance
without inducing sagging.

2.Due to her lower skin elasticity,
we strategically planned to leave a small fat cushion
under the buttocks to avoid exaggerated gluteal folds
and keep the skin contour smooth post-surgery.

Below are the comparison photos taken
before and one month after thigh liposuction
,
highlighting the transformation.

[Surgical Areas & Fat Volume]
Surgical areas: Thighs, hip line
Liposuction volume: 6,700cc

This patient underwent thigh and hip line liposuction
to remove excess fat stored in the buttocks and thighs.
The goal was to balance her lower body volume
with her upper body and achieve
a slimmer, more proportionate leg line.

Through a large-volume liposuction of 6,700cc,
we targeted multiple fat-retaining zones
and reshaped her silhouette to reflect
a more refined and elegant lower body contour.

In the selfie taken on the day of surgery,
you can already see a noticeable difference
in the patient’s thigh and hip line contour.
By removing excess fat from the outer and inner thighs
as well as the hip line,
we achieved a more balanced silhouette
and visually elongated leg line.

Prior to surgery, the patient had gained about 7kg,
and her skin elasticity had decreased,
indicating that recovery would likely take over 3 months
longer than average due to the skin’s reduced resilience.

To maintain the slimmer, reshaped leg line,
we strongly advised consistent use of compression garments
and participation in our in-house post-op care program.

With proper aftercare and time,
the patient is expected to see even further improvements
in smoothness, skin tone, and leg definition.
