Today, body management goes beyond simply lowering body weight.
There is greater focus and effort on creating an ideal body line.

Social media is filled with people
showcasing slim, curvy figures
through photos and videos.

The abundance of content
about body shaping exercises
and pelvic workouts
shows how interest in hip and pelvic lines
has significantly increased.

A firm, lifted buttocks
has now become a symbol of health and youth,
and is a key part of achieving an ideal body silhouette.

Although many try hip-up exercises
to build volume,
the buttocks area contains more subcutaneous fat
and tends to lose elasticity easily.

Thus, achieving noticeable results through exercise alone
in a short period is often difficult.

Due to the physical structure of East Asians,
with narrower pelvic width,
less supportive muscles,
and higher fat accumulation,
even slight weight gain
can distort leg shape
and disrupt the overall body balance.

For these cases,
fat grafting to the hip joint area
using harvested fat from the abdomen or thighs
is a powerful solution.

This smooths the line from the waist to the hips,
raises the starting point of the legs,
and creates the look of longer, slimmer legs.

The result is a transformation
toward a truly ideal body line.

The patient had a height of 161cm, weight of 49kg,
and a BMI of 19.

She had long struggled with stress
due to her thicker lower body compared to her upper body.

She had tried every method possible,
including massage treatments
and fat-dissolving injections,
hoping to slim her lower body.

However, despite her efforts,
the improvement was minimal.

She visited us to ask if her thick thighs
could be reshaped through lower body liposuction.

The pinch test showed that the patient had high fat volume
throughout the thighs, with a water-retentive body type.

While there was a good amount of fat for removal,
there was noticeable loss of skin elasticity,
especially along the inner thighs.

We explained that due to the reduced elasticity,
there could be limits on the amount of fat we could safely remove,
and that some loose skin might remain above the knees after surgery.

We advised her to wear a compression garment
for 2 to 3 months,
especially in areas where the skin elasticity was weak,
to help the skin adhere properly without sagging.

It was emphasized that the garment should be worn tightly,
acting almost like a cast,
to prevent the formation of empty spaces
where fat had been removed.

The patient also expressed a desire
for curvy lower body lines rather than overly thin, straight legs.

We confirmed a slight hip dip,
and explained that pelvic fat grafting
could enhance volume around the hip joints,
creating a more natural pelvic line.

Especially, pelvic fat grafting
can raise the starting point of the legs,
making them appear longer.

This plan greatly increased her expectations for the surgery.

In the end, through lower body liposuction,
we removed 3600cc of fat from the thighs,
and transplanted it to the hip joint areas.

Two weeks after pelvic fat grafting,
despite noticeable bio-bond formation, bruising, and swelling,
the previously uneven line
from the love handles to the thighs
appeared much smoother
thanks to lower body liposuction
and hip joint fat grafting.

Following the patient’s wishes,
we also observed that the pelvic line
had changed into a softer, curved shape.

As time passed,
the inner thigh line, which had excess volume,
became more defined,
creating a visible thigh gap.

This led to a synergy effect,
making the legs appear longer
and the waistline slimmer.

Autologous fat grafting to the pelvis,
where fat is harvested from the patient’s own body,
requires careful planning
based on individual body characteristics, skin type,
and preferred body shape.

It is crucial to meticulously assess
the pelvic width before surgery.

For satisfactory results,
it is highly recommended to undergo thorough consultation
with a specialist experienced in both fat grafting
and liposuction procedures.
