With the rising popularity of
the “healthy pleasure” trend among young women,
more people are pursuing diets aimed at
achieving a feminine and voluminous body.

However, it’s not easy to lose weight
while building volume at the same time—
especially in areas like the hips or pelvis,
which are difficult to change quickly.
Some even turn to shapewear or padded clothing
to enhance these areas temporarily.

As a result, more patients visit our clinic each year
seeking hip augmentation or pelvic contour surgery.
The idea of body fat grafting,
which uses fat from areas like the abdomen or thighs
to volumize flat regions,
is becoming increasingly popular and well-accepted.

Fat grafting also offers the benefit
of correcting hip asymmetry.
By removing excess fat through liposuction
and injecting it into underdeveloped areas,
patients can achieve smoother proportions
and address long-standing body insecurities.

Today’s featured patient had a naturally slim build
but suffered from hip dip deformity,
which left her pelvic line sunken
and made her overall silhouette look unbalanced.

[Patient Information]

Age: Mid-20s

Occupation: University student

Height: 171 cm

Weight: 55 kg

BMI: 19

Even with similar body specs,
results may vary from person to person.

This patient was particularly concerned
about fat accumulation in the lower body
and her hip dips, which made her legs appear
shorter and uneven, causing her a lot of stress.

Body analysis revealed that the patient
had low muscle mass but sufficient fat stores,
indicating a fat-storing body type
suitable for targeted contouring.

She carried a noticeable amount of fat
around the saddlebags,
but due to asymmetry in that area
and developed hamstrings,
we explained that liposuction alone
could result in uneven thigh curves.

In addition, she had a visible hip dip,
so we proposed removing fat
from the love handles and outer thighs
and injecting it into the hip dip area
to enhance the pelvic line with volume.

We recommended the following
hip dip fat transfer surgery plan:

1.Harvest fat from the love handles
and saddlebags, then transfer it
into the hip dip zone to create
a feminine pelvic silhouette.

2.Due to asymmetry in her legs
and prominent hamstring muscles,
we avoided excessive liposuction in the rear thighs.
We planned to preserve some fat
around the hamstring-saddlebag boundary
to ensure a natural thigh shape.

Below are the patient’s photos
taken before and 2 months after surgery,
including thigh liposuction and hip dip fat transfer.

[Surgical Areas and Fat Volume Removed]

Surgical areas: Thighs, love handles, hip dip fat transfer
Liposuction volume: 4,300cc
Fat graft volume: Right 230cc, Left 220cc

This patient’s goal was to refine
her lower body line—from waist to thighs
by targeting her main concerns
with love handle and thigh liposuction.
The harvested fat was then injected
into the hip dip area,
creating a softer, more feminine pelvis
with smooth and natural curves.

In her case, thigh liposuction alone
would have been enough to improve the
leg shape and pelvic contour.
However, to bring a more dramatic change
to the waist-to-thigh transition,
we performed love handle liposuction as well.

As a result, her pelvic line became more elegant,
and her legs appeared longer,
enhancing the overall impression of
a balanced and feminine silhouette.

As seen in the patient’s selfie
taken three weeks after surgery,
the pelvic curve now appears
smoother and fuller,
enhancing her feminine silhouette.

The result is a slim yet voluminous figure
that gives off a healthy and toned impression.
However, achieving a feminine body
doesn’t mean injecting excessive fat—
what matters more is a balanced design
based on the patient’s hip structure,
body fat distribution,
and upper-to-lower body proportions.

By customizing both liposuction and fat transfer
to match each patient’s frame,
we can correct weak points
while enhancing natural strengths,
leading to high satisfaction and long-lasting results.
