Hip dip fat transfer – Right: 180cc / Left: 180cc

Women who prefer a toned and curvy S-line figure
often try to improve their body shape
by doing lower body workouts—
such as squats or stair climbing—
or wearing shaping undergarments
to enhance hip volume.

While consistent efforts can help
with body maintenance,
it’s often difficult to sustain
those results long-term.

Fat transfer to the hip dip area
is a body contouring procedure
that uses excess fat
from areas like the abdomen or thighs
and transfers it to the buttocks and hip dip,
helping restore volume where it’s lacking.

This procedure not only adds
firmness and lift to the buttocks,
but also improves overall lower body contour
through targeted liposuction.

Today’s featured patient underwent
thigh liposuction and fat transfer to the hip dip,
resulting in slimmer thighs
and a more balanced, feminine pelvic curve.

Let’s take a closer look
at the degree of transformation
through the before-and-after photos below.

[Patient Information]
Age: Early 20s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 158 cm
Weight: 54 kg
BMI: 22

Even with similar body types,
liposuction results may vary by individual.

This patient had a lower-body dominant physique
and was particularly stressed about excess fat
around the saddlebags and inner thighs.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient presented with the following characteristics:

1. She had a fat-dominant body type
with low muscle mass and a high amount of fat overall.

2. A visible hip dip was observed—
a sunken area in the trochanteric region.

3. The volume in the panty line
and saddlebag areas made the hip dip
appear even more pronounced.

Based on these findings,
we proposed the following thigh liposuction surgery plan:

1. We aimed to reduce as much lower body volume as possible
to create a slimmer leg contour
through thigh liposuction.

2. However, due to the patient’s
hip dip deformity,
we also needed to address her imbalanced lower body silhouette.

3. To correct this, we designed a plan
to perform fat transfer to the hip dip,
using purified fat harvested from the inner thighs
and saddlebags—her areas of greatest concern.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery and
6 months after thigh liposuction and fat transfer to the hip dip.

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]
Treatment Area: Thighs, Fat transfer to the hip dip
Liposuction Volume: 3,500cc
Hip Dip Fat Transfer: Right – 180cc, Left – 180cc

This patient underwent thigh liposuction
combined with fat transfer to the hip dip
to eliminate stubborn thigh fat
and use the harvested fat
to add volume to the trochanteric area,
creating a slim yet feminine leg silhouette.

In the photos taken 6 weeks post-op,
you can see that the thighs have become slimmer,
and the previously sunken hip dip area
has been volumized,
visually raising the starting point of the legs.

As a result, the patient achieved
a more feminine pelvic contour
and the legs appear visibly longer
compared to the pre-surgery appearance.

While thigh liposuction alone
can improve lower body balance
and streamline the leg line,

combining it with fat transfer to the hip dip
creates a synergistic effect,
resulting in a more sculpted and
feminine body line transformation.
