Even with consistent exercise routines
and strict dietary control,
many women who struggle with
lower body obesity
find it difficult to achieve
100% satisfaction after weight loss.

That’s because the thigh area
does not respond evenly to fat loss.
With its naturally large muscle volume
and wide bone structure,
it’s hard to create a smooth leg contour
through diet alone.

For ideal results,
thigh liposuction should address
the front, back, inner and outer thighs,
as well as the hip line and knee area,
while maintaining harmony
between the upper and lower body.

A thorough consultation
and personalized surgical design
are essential before the procedure
to ensure balance and symmetry.

Today’s case involves a patient
who transformed her leg shape
through thigh liposuction
and hip line liposuction,
achieving a noticeably smoother contour.

Let’s take a closer look
at how her lower body changed
through this thigh liposuction case.

[Patient Information]
Age: Early 30s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 164 cm
Weight: 57 kg
BMI: 21

Even with similar body types,
liposuction results may vary by individual.

This patient had a lower body dominant figure
and experienced stress due to the noticeable imbalance
between her slimmer upper body
and disproportionately heavy lower half.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient presented the following traits:

1. She had a fat-dominant body type,
with relatively low muscle mass
and a high proportion of body fat.

2. Her skin elasticity was generally poor,
and there were noticeable irregularities
on the inner thighs.

3. The buttocks carried significant weight
due to excess fat,
and infragluteal folds were present.

Based on these findings,
we proposed the following
thigh liposuction surgery plan:

1. We aimed to sculpt a slimmer leg line
by performing thigh liposuction
along with hip line liposuction,
focusing on reducing lower body volume
and improving balance.

2. For the inner thigh irregularities,
we did not recommend fat grafting
as the depressed areas were unlikely
to show meaningful improvement.

3. For the buttocks,
we proceeded with hip line liposuction
to reduce heaviness,
but intentionally preserved
a small amount of fat
to prevent deepening
of the existing buttock folds.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery
and 2 weeks after thigh liposuction.

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]
Treatment Area: Thighs, Hip Line
Liposuction Volume: 3,800cc

This patient underwent thigh liposuction
and hip line liposuction
to remove excess fat heavily concentrated
in the thighs and create a smoother,
more balanced leg contour.

In the 2-week post-op photo,
despite residual bruising, swelling,
and presence of bio-bond dressing,
we can observe a clear reduction in thigh volume
and improved symmetry across the lower body.

For the buttocks, which showed visible sagging
due to fat heaviness, hip line liposuction
was performed to reduce volume while maintaining contour.
As a result, the infragluteal fold also showed
notable improvement compared to the pre-op condition.

With liposuction, factors such as
skin elasticity, fat distribution,
and individual body type must be carefully considered
during the planning phase.

To achieve optimal results,
a detailed preoperative body analysis
is essential.

In this case, the patient had
low skin elasticity and delicate skin quality.
Because of this, a longer recovery period
was expected to allow the lower body
to fully adapt to its new contour.

With continued compression garment use
and adherence to our aftercare program,
a highly satisfying surgical outcome
is expected over time.
