When inner thigh fat increases,
the thigh gap disappears when standing with feet together,
making the thighs appear wider from the front,
which visually shortens the legs
and gives a heavier, less refined impression.

Additionally, inner thigh fat not only causes aesthetic dissatisfaction
but can also lead to fabric wear, chafing, dermatitis,
and even pigmentation due to friction.

For these reasons, many women become particularly concerned
about reducing inner thigh fat.

When inner thigh liposuction is chosen as a solution,
the goal is not only to reduce volume and circumference
to improve daily comfort,
but also to define the starting point of the legs,
creating a longer and more elegant silhouette —

Even with similar body specifications,
liposuction results may vary depending on individual conditions.

The patient had an average weight,
but the inner thigh fat accumulation
gave her lower body a heavier appearance.

She had tried various lower-body exercises, stretches,
and other thigh-slimming methods,
but continued to feel unsatisfied —
especially because the lack of a thigh gap
made her leg proportions appear unbalanced.

Through the consultation, it was confirmed that
the patient’s fat distribution was concentrated in the inner thighs,
which was the main factor shortening and weighing down
her lower body proportions.

Because of this inner thigh fat thickness,
both thighs touched completely from the inner knees upward,
leaving no visible thigh gap —
making the lower body appear wide and heavy from the front view.

Additionally, due to her natural tendency to store fat in the lower body,
the inner thigh volume became even more pronounced,
visibly affecting her overall body balance.

The goal of thigh liposuction in this case
was to refine the inner thigh fat and create
a clear separation between the thighs,
visibly lightening the lower body
and improving leg proportions and balance.

We’ll now take a look at how the inner thigh reduction
reshaped the legs and how the thigh gap correction
transformed the patient’s overall body proportion.

These photos were taken two weeks after
inner thigh and chanel line liposuction.

Although it was still within the early swelling phase,
a clear improvement in the thigh gap could already be seen.

As the inner thigh fat was naturally reduced,
a visible space appeared above the knees,
where the thighs had previously touched.

With this new separation between the legs,
the overall leg line appeared straighter,
the thigh width became slimmer,
and the proportion of the lower body
looked more balanced and refined.

From the back view,
the leg line appears noticeably lighter
compared to before surgery.

As the inner thigh fat was reduced,
the contour from the knees to the upper inner thighs
became smooth and straight,
creating a more refined and elongated silhouette.

Additionally, the saddlebags (outer thigh fat)
were delicately contoured,
raising the previously drooping start point of the thighs,
making the legs appear longer and more lifted overall.

From the side view,
the improvement in the front thighs is truly dramatic.

The bulging front thigh area that previously disrupted
the fit of clothing has now been smoothed out,
creating not only a visible reduction in circumference
but also transforming the leg shape
from a curved outline to a straight, elongated line.

This thigh liposuction procedure focused not only
on reducing thigh circumference,
but more importantly, on refining the inner thigh fat
that disrupted the leg’s proportion and silhouette —
resulting in a naturally balanced and elegant leg contour.

About two and a half months after surgery,
when most of the swelling had subsided,
the selfie photos provided by the patient clearly showed that

the inner thigh fat that once touched and
made the legs look heavy and compressed
had been beautifully refined —
revealing a slimmer thigh circumference
and a natural thigh gap,
creating a lighter and smoother leg line.

However, since residual swelling can take more time to resolve completely,
the patient was advised to stay patient and continue
regular exercise, healthy eating habits,
and steady post-surgical care
to help maintain long-term, refined results.

For liposuction,
a small incision is made in the skin,
and a cannula is inserted
to suction out the fat.

from another clinic to

Scar recovery varies individually,
but typically heals within 3 to 6 months.
From 6 months onward, scars gradually fade
and become barely noticeable over time.

If pigmentation develops after surgery,
scars may appear darker,
and could take up to 1–2 years to fade,
depending on how well they’re managed.

is critical for preventing irritation
or darkening at incision sites.

and students who study at desks for extended periods
often accumulate fat in the thighs and buttocks
due to poor posture.

In contrast, service workers who stand for long hours
are prone to swelling from remaining in one position,
and this swelling can eventually harden into fat deposits.

Such different causes can lead to lower body obesity,
where fat accumulates disproportionately in the lower body
compared to the upper body.

Even people with a relatively low overall body weight
can experience this type of lower body fat distribution.

The patient was 163 cm tall,
weighed 55.4 kg,
and had a BMI of 20.9.
Her main concerns were the inner thighs and saddlebag area.

As a teacher who stands all day,
she often experienced swelling,
leading to lower body obesity
with fat concentrated in the thighs.

She wanted a straight leg line
to make her legs appear longer,
and to smooth out the bulging saddlebag area.

When there is excess fat in the inner thighs,
the skin can rub together,
causing chafing and pain.

In severe cases,
pigmentation can occur due to skin friction,
which is why many women
choose to undergo thigh liposuction for correction.

In the patient’s case,
during inner thigh liposuction,

interrupting the straight line from the thighs to the calves.

Through inner knee (Chanel Line) liposuction,
along with inner thigh fat removal,
the mid-leg bulge is corrected,
creating a smooth, straight leg line down to the calves.

For the outer thighs,
significant improvement can be difficult due to muscle mass.
However, since there was a large amount of fat,
a visible liposuction effect was expected.

Additionally,
to meet the patient’s desire for a maximum straight leg line,
we explained that after thigh liposuction,
the calves might appear relatively larger.

Thus, we recommended calf Botox treatment after surgery
to enhance the overall leg line balance.

The patient did not prefer an overly thin leg look,
so we performed liposuction to achieve the slimmest possible line,
while maintaining a feminine, curved silhouette.

Although the patient did not proceed with the additional
Chanel Line liposuction and calf Botox we had recommended,
reshaping the saddlebag area and inner thighs alone
successfully created a longer-looking leg effect.
