The consultation indicated:
1. The patient has adequate skin elasticity and muscle mass.
2. The deltoid muscles are well-developed, making it challenging to create a perfectly straight shoulder line.
3. The back of the arms had enough fat for significant size reduction and contour improvement.
We proposed:
1. Perform liposuction on the arms and axilla to create a slimmer contour.
2. Due to the well-developed deltoid muscles, avoid excessive suction to prevent the muscle line from becoming too prominent; instead, create a straight line by removing a moderate amount of fat around the muscle boundaries.
3. Reuse the previous incision sites for this surgery to address the patient’s sensitivity to new scars.
