had consistently maintained a healthy lifestyle
with running and a controlled diet,
but struggled with excess belly fat
and a narrow pelvic line,
which made her silhouette look unbalanced.

Ultimately, she decided to undergo surgery
to address what diet alone could not fix—
choosing a combined procedure of
abdominal liposuction and
hip dip fat transfer
to reshape her figure.

The patient was particularly concerned
about abdominal fat,
which made her waistline unclear
and caused her upper body
to look heavier than it actually was.

Due to her naturally narrow pelvis,
any excess belly fat became more noticeable,
making her body proportions appear unbalanced.

Although she had been consistently
running and managing her weight,
and had lost over 10kg before visiting us,
she still found it difficult to address
these remaining issues through lifestyle changes alone.

That’s why she wanted to achieve
an hourglass waist and curvier shape—
by removing stubborn fat around the waist
and adding volume to the hips
through abdominal liposuction
and hip dip fat transfer.

Body contour analysis revealed
that fat was concentrated mainly in the front abdomen
and flanks,
which blurred the waistline and made
the upper body appear wider and heavier.

From the front, the lower belly
and love handle bulges stood out,
making the waist curve barely noticeable.
From the side, the belly slightly protruded forward,
affecting the fit and silhouette of clothing.

In contrast, the patient had a naturally narrow pelvis,
which made the volume of the abdomen look
even more exaggerated.
This imbalance between the upper and lower body
created the appearance of a straight waist
with no definition.

These structural features caused
a flat and top-heavy silhouette,
with the weight seemingly focused
around the abdominal area.

As a result, the inner thighs appeared uneven,
with noticeable wrinkling,
requiring contour correction.

In addition, the hip dip area lacked volume
and had a hollow appearance,
making the outer thigh bulge more noticeable
and disrupting the smooth transition
between the pelvis and thighs.

To address this, we created a surgical plan
with the following approach:

1.360-degree abdominal liposuction
Fat was carefully removed not only from the front
but also from the sides and back,
creating a slim and sculpted waistline
for a more balanced and lighter-looking upper body.

2.Hip dip fat transfer (Pelvic contouring)
Fat harvested during liposuction
was transferred to the hip dips on both sides,
enhancing the pelvic curve and building
a coke-bottle silhouette
that flows naturally from waist to hips to thighs.

3.Skin-conscious liposuction technique
Since her abdominal skin had lost elasticity
due to previous weight changes,
a delicate technique was used
to remove fat based on depth and distribution,
ensuring a smooth contour
with no lumps or creases.

Before surgery, the pelvis lacked volume,
which made the abdominal bulge appear more prominent.
The transition from waist to lower body
was almost a straight line with no curves.

Especially due to hip dips
deep indentations along the pelvic line—
the lower body appeared short and unbalanced
from both the front and side views.

After abdominal liposuction and hip dip fat transfer,
the waistline became more defined,
and volume was added naturally to the pelvis,
creating a smooth and feminine curve
from waist to hips to thighs.
The hip dips were also filled in evenly,
leading to a balanced silhouette.

From the front view, the waistline reappeared,
which helped create a more stable lower body contour.
From the side view, the protruding belly volume reduced,
and the hip area gained dimension,
resulting in a better upper-lower body balance.

Even the abdominal skin,
which had lost elasticity due to weight fluctuations,
was smoothed out without wrinkles or lumps
through a skin-conscious liposuction technique.

The pelvic fat graft area settled naturally,
transforming the silhouette into a more feminine
and refined bodyline.

This case shows that stubborn fat
and a flat pelvic line
which cannot be easily improved through dieting alone—
can be corrected with abdominal liposuction
and hip dip fat grafting.

Rather than simply removing or adding large amounts of fat,
we tailored the procedure to the patient’s body type,
skin condition, and skeletal structure,
achieving highly satisfying and natural-looking results
