When consulting patients who visit our clinic
for body contour improvement through liposuction,
we often find that many do not wish to address
just a single area.
Instead, they hope to remove as much fat as possible
by treating multiple areas at once.

However, large-volume, multi-area liposuction
can place physical strain on the body,
which is why careful planning and safety checks
are essential.

Before the procedure, we thoroughly assess:

the total amount of fat to be removed,

the patient’s bleeding tendency,

and the estimated anesthesia time,
to ensure the patient’s safety and stability throughout the surgery.

Today’s case features a patient
who underwent full-body liposuction revision.
She had previously had liposuction,
but residual fat remained in several areas.
Through this second procedure,
her entire body line was refined,
resulting in a more even and smooth silhouette.

Let’s take a look at her case details
and see how her figure has changed.

[Patient Information]
Age: Late 30s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 160 cm
Weight: 52 kg
BMI: 21
Results may vary, even among patients with similar profiles.

One year ago, she underwent liposuction
on her arms, abdomen, and inner thighs at another clinic.
However, the procedure failed to deliver the body contouring effect
she had hoped for, which caused ongoing stress. Two years ago, she underwent arm liposuction at another clinic,
but was dissatisfied with the outcome.
Due to post-op weight gain and yoyo effect,
she returned to undergo revision liposuction
to refine her arm contour.

Body type analysis revealed the following for this patient:

1.She had a fat-dominant body type,
with low muscle mass and a high fat distribution overall.

2.She previously underwent liposuction
on her upper arms (posterior), lower abdomen,
and inner thighs at another clinic.
However, a significant amount of fat remained
in all of these treated areas.

3.To achieve the slimmer arm and lower body silhouette
she desired, we recommended a combination of
arm liposuction, accessory breast fat removal,
and armpit liposuction, along with
thigh liposuction and Chanel line contouring.

Based on this evaluation,
we proposed the following full-body liposuction revision plan:

1.We planned revision liposuction for the arms, abdomen,
and thighs to evenly remove the residual fat
from her previous procedure,
and to balance the upper and lower body.

2.A second round of arm liposuction,
combined with accessory breast 1.and armpit fat removal,
was planned to create a more slender arm contour.

3.For the thighs, we targeted not only the inner thighs
(previously treated), but also the front thigh area
and the Chanel line to complete the reshaping process.

4.Given the large volume of fat expected to be removed
from multiple areas (arms, abdomen, thighs),
we emphasized the importance of conducting a surgical suitability evaluation,
and advised the patient to maintain optimal physical condition
before the procedure to ensure safety.

Below are the comparison photos taken before full-body liposuction
and 3 months after the revision surgery.

[Surgical Areas & Fat Volume]
Procedure areas: Arms, abdomen, thighs
Total fat removed: 8,300cc

Through revision liposuction of the arms, abdomen, and thighs,
this patient aimed to eliminate excess fat left behind
after the initial procedure and achieve a more balanced body contour.

As seen in the before-and-after comparison,
focusing around the pelvic line,
fat was effectively removed from both the upper body (arms and abdomen)
and lower body (thighs),
resulting in a clearly slimmer silhouette than before.

Additionally, this patient presented a unique challenge:
after her initial full-body liposuction,
she developed adhesions—firm, hardened fat tissue
beneath the skin due to internal scarring—
which made fat extraction more difficult during revision surgery.

Because of these complications,
her recovery period was expected to take over three months,
longer than average.

For optimal results, we emphasized the importance of
consistent post-op care, especially compression garment use,
as well as allowing ample healing time.
Given the multiple revision areas,
dedicated and careful recovery efforts
could lead to even more refined results in the long term.
