Face (double chin, facial line, front cheekbone)

liposuction aspirate volume

No matter how much you change the selfie angle,
if the volume under your chin keeps showing,
it may actually reveal more hidden fullness
around the lower face than you realize.

Fat accumulated beneath the chin is difficult to conceal
from any angle — front or side —
making the face appear larger
and sometimes even older.

When double chin fat is excessive,
losing facial fat through dieting alone
rarely produces consistent or satisfying results.
In such cases, a surgical approach aligned
with the natural jawline contour
can deliver a more effective and lasting improvement.

This patient had previously undergone
two facial liposuction surgeries,
but after a period of weight gain,
fat began to accumulate again under the chin,
resulting in a double chin
and the loss of a defined jawline,
which became her main concern.

As facial fat increased,
the contour from below the cheekbones to under the chin
became blurred,
making her overall appearance look heavy and dull,
which caused significant stress.

Although she continued light exercise regularly,
it was difficult to selectively reduce fat
in specific facial areas,
leading her to conclude that surgical correction
was once again necessary.

Accordingly, the surgery was planned
with the goal of refining double chin fat
and restoring a natural, smooth jawline.

To eliminate the double chin and redefine
the overall facial contour, including
the under-chin, facial line, front cheekbones,
and the area beside the nasolabial folds,
we’ll now review the patient’s appearance
1 year and 4 months after
the comprehensive facial liposuction surgery.

About 1 year and 4 months after facial liposuction,

the cheek fat and double chin fat have significantly reduced,
making the overall face smaller and improving the
previously sagging appearance, resulting in a lighter contour.

Fat beneath the cheekbones, around the side cheeks,
and under the chin was refined, revealing a smooth V-line
from the front view. From the side,
the neck and jawline boundary became clearly defined,
creating a sharper and more balanced facial impression.

After gaining weight in the past, the patient experienced
double chin and lower facial heaviness,
which made the face look larger than the actual bone structure
and created a tired, bulky impression.

Through facial liposuction,
the removal of chin and double chin fat
noticeably reduced this heaviness,
bringing ideal balance and clarity to the facial contour
and overall proportions.

This case demonstrates that for facial fat
— which often shows minimal improvement with diet alone —
a surgical approach designed with attention to
balance and harmony can achieve a stable, refined result.
