Only Decide At Lesarts

Brachioplasty

Arms are Lesarts’ domain, not anyone else’s.

"I can’t even lift my arms,
and I can’t wear clothes that fit my body."

We’re in an era of lifting from head to toe,

and many people are concerned about sagging upper arms.

When you raise your arms, if the skin

spreads wide like a bird’s wings and droops downward,

brachioplasty can improve it.

Brachioplasty

Brachioplasty is not a surgery that simply removes loose skin

from both arms and ends there.

Externally, the main goals arecorrecting sagging and matching

left–right symmetry. But the full process also includes carefully

planning the position and shapeof the inevitably long scar,

and providing thorough, stable recovery care after surgery.

In addition, the surgical area contains many major nerves and blood vessels,

that connect to the forearm and hand, and lymph nodes and ,

lymphatic vessels are also located there.,

So accurate diagnosis and meticulous surgery are essential to improve ,

both safety and surgical satisfaction.

Lesarts Plastic Surgery fulfills these needs through extensive experience,

with body liposuction and body lift cases, and through advanced ,

incision and suturing techniques.

When brachioplasty is needed

Arms are a high-movement area that needs extra care, highly visible just below the face,
and one of the most important areas when choosing clothes year-round.

Case 01

Skin overlapping when the arms are lowered

When you lower your arms, if the loose skin of the accessory breast area (~side chest) and the inner upper-arm skin has lost elasticity, droops downward, and overlaps together.

Case 02

Skin sagging when the arms are raised

When you raise your arms, if the inner upper-arm (batwing) skin stretches downward and sagging occurs.

Case 03

Skin bulging out when the arms are lowered

In a side view with the arms lowered, if sagging skin bulges out to the front and back of the upper arm, and elasticity is lost around the upper arm and accessory breast area (~side chest).

Brachioplasty surgical method

Achieve beautiful and harmonious results with Lesarts' specialized brachioplasty technique.

Step 01

Skin incision

We determine the incision position and length based on the degree of sagging and skin elasticity, while carefully preserving nerves, blood vessels, lymph nodes, and lymphatic vessels.

Step 02

Removal of sagging skin

We remove loose skin while considering arm movement and a natural lifting effect.

Step 03

Triple micro-suturing

With subcutaneous fat-layer suturing and double-layer skin suturing, we minimize scar widening and distortion.

Step 04

Dermabond application

Without surface skin sutures, we apply a medical-grade bond so the incision scar settles smoothly, prevents external contamination, and supports stable recovery.

Brachioplasty surgery types

The methods of brachioplasty surgery is determined by the degree of skin sagging,
amount of subcutaneous fat, amount of stretched arm tissues, and expected outcome value.
Please check the optimal surgical plan through consultation with specialists, as details may vary for each individual.

Type 01

S-type (short type)

· Performed for mild sagging limited to a small area  of the accessory breast, underarm, and uppermost upper arm

· Incision inside the armpit

· Limited correction range

Type 02

M-type (medium type)

· Performed when batwing sagging extends to the accessory breast, underarm, and mid–upper arm

· L-shaped incision along the inner arm from the trunk to the mid–upper arm

· Wide correction range

Type 03

L-type (long type)

· Performed for wide sagging from the side chest, accessory breast, underarm, and upper arm down to the elbow

· L-shaped incision along the inner arm from the side chest to the elbow

· Wide correction range

Essential pre-surgery check

For brachioplasty, it is essential to diagnose

each individual’s condition confirm whether surgery is necessary,

and predict the improvement range to build a proper surgical plan.

Also, understanding scar care and the long recovery process

is an important part, so a professional consultation

to discuss these points in detail is very important.

Brachioplasty procedure

Until the final result after surgery. We check thoroughly.

01.Suitability check

In addition to basic tests, we perform blood level tests, cholesterol, ECG, diabetes, and thyroid hormone tests.

※ If abnormal or unsuitable results are found, the surgery will not proceed.

02.Surgical design

Based on diagnosis of sagging condition, fat volume, and degree of muscle development, we create a customized surgical design that prioritizes safety and results.

A medical team and staff, managed under a 100% surgeon-responsibility system, perform the surgery safely and accurately.
