She was especially concerned

around the incision site.

Even with similar body types,
results of liposuction may vary.
The patient was stressed
about fat in her upper arms,
which made her upper body
look disproportionately large.
According to the body analysis,
this patient had a body type
with excess fat in the upper body overall.
There was a high fat concentration
around the axillary breast, shoulder blade,
bra line, back hump, and armpit,
which are the connection points
between the arms and torso.
These areas were recommended
for surgery along with arm liposuction.
The outer upper arm area
had relatively less fat,
and while overall skin elasticity was fair,
the inner arm skin was somewhat delicate.
The patient also had sensitive skin
prone to pigmentation.
Based on this assessment,
we proposed the following
arm liposuction surgery plan:
Perform arm liposuction
along with fat removal from
the axillary breast, shoulder blade,
bra line, back hump, and armpit
to create a slimmer, softer upper body contour.
Since a large volume of fat
was expected to be removed from the upper body,
we advised the patient that post-op symptoms
like dizziness or nausea may occur.
In such cases, visiting the clinic
for IV fluids and iron injection therapy
may be necessary.

This patient underwent upper arm liposuction
along with fat removal from the axillary breast,
armpit, shoulder blade, bra line, and hump
to reduce the upper body volume,
which was her biggest concern.
As seen in the before-and-after photos
taken 3 months after surgery,
removing fat from the arms
and surrounding areas
significantly reduced the volume
along the upper body line,
creating a visibly slimmer contour.
Since the patient had delicate skin
on the inner arms,
we emphasized the importance of
wearing a compression garment consistently
for up to 6 months,
to prevent wrinkling or sagging
in the areas where fat was removed.
Though the patient was concerned
about pigmentation on the incision sites,
we explained that this would gradually improve.
Because patients may feel anxious
about unfamiliar post-op symptoms
following liposuction,
we advised her to receive scar care treatments,
including laser therapy at our clinic,
as well as proper moisturizing and sun protection
at home.
