Creating the appearance of slender arms,
right-angled shoulders,
and a tapered waistline
through diet and exercise alone
often takes a long time—
and may not lead to the exact shape or size desired.

For those who struggle with certain areas,
arm liposuction and abdominal liposuction
can help correct imbalances
in parts of the body that are resistant
to lifestyle changes alone.

However, with upper body liposuction,
removing too much fat to achieve size reduction
can increase the risk of side effects—
such as skin irregularities, indentations,
or asymmetry.

That’s why a preoperative body analysis
and suitability assessment are essential
to design a safe and effective surgical plan
based on the patient’s physical condition
and aesthetic goals.

Today’s featured patient underwent
arm liposuction and abdominal liposuction,
resulting in a more balanced
and naturally slim-looking upper body.

Let’s review her transformation
through the before-and-after photos below.

Patient Information
Age: Mid-20s
Occupation: Professional
Height: 158 cm
Weight: 57 kg
BMI: 23

Even with similar body types,
liposuction results may vary by individual.

This patient had been stressed
by stubborn fat accumulation
in her upper arms and abdomen,
which made her frame appear bulkier overall.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient presented with the following characteristics:

1.She had a fat-dominant upper body,
with sufficient fat volume in the arms and abdomen,
and a moderate level of muscle mass.

2.There was also excess fat
in the axillary area and accessory breast tissue,
making these ideal areas to treat
in conjunction with arm liposuction.

3.She had prominent trapezius muscles,
which made her upper body appear broader
and contributed to a bulky appearance.

4.The abdominal skin elasticity was moderate,
indicating that abdominal liposuction
would likely produce effective results.
To improve upper body balance,
we recommended treating the abdomen as well.

Based on this, we proposed
the following upper body liposuction surgery plan:

1.We planned to perform arm liposuction
and abdominal liposuction
to create slimmer arms and
a more defined waistline,
ultimately giving the upper body
a smaller and more delicate appearance.

2.Because the trapezius muscles
contributed to a broad upper body look,
we recommended trapezius Botox injections
to create a softer, more feminine shoulder line.

3.Since a significant amount of fat
was expected to be removed
from the arms and abdomen,
we conducted preoperative blood tests
to confirm patient safety and suitability
for a high-volume liposuction procedure.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery
and 6 months after upper body liposuction.

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]
Treatment Areas: Arms, Armpits, Accessory breast tissue,
Abdomen, Trapezius Botox
Liposuction Volume: 4,800cc

The patient underwent upper body liposuction
to remove excess fat from the arms and abdomen,
with the goal of achieving a slimmer arm line
and a flat, tapered waistline.

As seen in the photos taken 6 months after surgery,
the combination of arm liposuction
and trapezius Botox helped define
a more refined shoulder line
and created a straight, slender arm silhouette.

By also addressing the abdomen,
we successfully reduced the fat-heavy waist area,
resulting in a more balanced and streamlined upper body.

After entering the stabilization phase of recovery,
we advised the patient to maintain her results
through core-strengthening exercises
and structured dietary improvements,
as part of a healthy long-term lifestyle.
