When starting an abdominal weight loss journey,
most people begin with regular workouts
and a balanced diet focused on protein, carbs, and fat.

These efforts help create healthy habits
and can lead to successful weight loss
and obesity prevention.
However, achieving a flawless body contour
through diet alone is often difficult.

Many patients experience this:
you lose weight, but still feel dissatisfied
with stubborn belly fat.
That small leftover pouch
makes it easy to relapse into old habits,
causing yo-yo weight gain
and repeating the same cycle.

As a result, more people are turning to
abdominal liposuction
when diet and exercise aren’t enough
to refine their waistline.

This includes everything from
line-focused contouring
to high-BMI liposuction cases
for those with more severe fat accumulation.

That said, aggressive fat removal
is not always the right answer.
Successful results require
a careful body analysis,
followed by a balanced and safe approach
to abdominal liposuction
that prioritizes proportions and smooth recovery.

The patient in today’s case
had long maintained irregular eating habits,
which led to weight gain
and visible fat around the waistline.
She underwent abdominal liposuction
combined with bra line liposuction,
resulting in a much smoother and cleaner midsection.

Let’s check the degree of transformation
through the before-and-after photos below.

Patient Information
Age: Mid-20s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 158 cm
Weight: 72 kg
BMI: 29

Even among patients with similar body types,
liposuction outcomes may vary individually.

The patient had long struggled with
weight fluctuations and poor clothing fit
due to irregular dietary habits
and accumulated abdominal fat.

According to her body shape analysis,
this patient had the following characteristics:

1.She had a high overall fat volume,
with noticeable abdominal distension
caused by visceral fat pushing outward
on the abdominal wall.

2.She had a high concentration of subcutaneous fat
in the anterior abdomen,
and was expected to see a clear reduction in size
and a more defined waistline
through abdominal liposuction.

3.Rather than targeting only the front abdomen,
including the bra line area
would help create a more balanced silhouette
and natural upper body contour.

Based on this assessment,
we proposed the following abdominal liposuction plan:

1.Perform abdominal liposuction
together with bra line liposuction
to contour the waistline
and achieve upper body balance.

2.Since the patient had a high level of visceral fat,
we advised her to maintain the results
by combining a balanced diet
and regular cardio exercise
to reduce internal fat and maintain weight loss
after the procedure.

Below is the comparison photo
taken before surgery
and 4.5 months after abdominal liposuction.

[Surgical Area & Fat Volume]
Treatment Areas: Abdomen, Bra line
Liposuction Volume: 5,600cc

The patient underwent abdominal liposuction
combined with bra line liposuction,
aiming to create a smooth, defined waistline
that matched her upper body balance.

She had a high ratio of subcutaneous fat
throughout the abdomen,
indicating that liposuction would lead to
visible improvement in volume reduction
and overall size.

However, because her visceral fat
was pushing the abdominal wall forward,
we opted for a balanced fat removal approach,
taking into account the limits of her skin elasticity
to ensure a natural and stable outcome.

Postoperatively, she was advised to wear
a compression garment continuously
for up to 6 months,
to prevent skin sagging

and support the tightening of the abdominal area
as the body adjusted to the new shape.

We also recommended she participate in our clinic’s
postoperative care program
to help maintain the newly sculpted
slim waistline.
