Many people who struggle with dieting in daily life
are increasingly turning to liposuction
as a fast and effective way
to achieve their desired body shape.

In particular, those seeking body contour correction
for specific areas often visit liposuction clinics.
Some are unsatisfied with the initial results,
or experience weight regain,
and eventually return for revision liposuction.

Today’s case involves a patient
who underwent arm liposuction revision.
Although she had liposuction years ago,
she regained fat, making her upper body appear larger.
Let’s look closely at the before-and-after photos
to see the transformation after her second procedure.

[Patient Information]
Age: Early 40s
Occupation: Office worker
Height: 168 cm
Weight: 59 kg
BMI: 21
Results may vary even for patients with similar profiles.

Eight years ago, this patient had localized liposuction
on her accessory breast area and upper arm bulge,
hoping to slim her arms.
However, she didn’t achieve a visible change in contour,
and continued to feel stressed about her overall arm size.
She also gained more weight since then.

Based on a thorough body assessment,
we found that this patient had low muscle mass
but a high fat distribution in the upper body.

There was also a significant fat deposit
in the upper arm area,
which made her frame appear larger.

To help her achieve a more delicate, slim upper body,
we recommended not only arm liposuction
but also fat removal from the accessory breast,
armpit, bra line, shoulder blade, and hump areas.

A small amount of fat and muscle
was also noted in the trapezius region.

Based on these findings,
we suggested the following arm liposuction revision plan:

1.Combine arm liposuction with surrounding area liposuction
to balance the upper body,
refine the arm contour,
and create a slimmer silhouette.

2.Since the trapezius muscle contributed
to a larger upper body appearance,
we advised regular trapezius botox injections
to gradually reduce muscle volume.

3.Although it was a revision case,
a considerable amount of fat was expected to be removed.
We conducted a preoperative health evaluation
and advised the patient to focus on maintaining
good physical condition before surgery.

Below are the comparison photos taken
before the arm liposuction revision and 3 months after.

[Surgical Areas & Fat Volume]
Targeted areas: Arms, accessory breast, armpit, shoulder blade, hump, bra line
Total fat removed: 2,800cc

Through this arm liposuction revision,
the patient hoped to remove the bulky upper arm fat
that made her frame appear larger,
and achieve a more slim and delicate upper body.

A comparison of her before-and-after photos
shows that fat in the armpit, accessory breast,
shoulder blade, and bra line areas
had pushed the upper arms outward,
making them look wider and bulkier.
After removing those fat deposits,
her arms now look noticeably slimmer.

The most striking change is visible from the back—
with the back fat reduced,
the upper body line appears smoother and more feminine.

Over the past three months,
the patient has been recovering well
thanks to consistent use of compression garments
and regular post-op care.

While the major swelling has subsided,
continued healing and residual swelling reduction
will take more time.
By gradually incorporating light exercise
and maintaining a controlled diet,
the final results are expected to improve even further.
