Liposuction removes only the fat cells
from the areas you’re concerned about,
allowing a transformation into your desired
body shape, and delivering dramatic results
after surgery. It has become a highly satisfying
and widely popular body contouring procedure.

As more people seek liposuction
for overall body contouring,
the number of patients visiting liposuction clinics
has grown rapidly. At the same time,
those who were not satisfied with the results
of their initial surgery often feel desperate
and begin considering liposuction revision procedures.

If liposuction is performed without thorough
consultation with your surgeon, there’s a chance
not enough fat will be removed,
or on the other hand, excessive suction

can lead to uneven skin texture,
making it difficult to achieve
a smooth and beautiful body line.

In the case of liposuction revision,
the procedure is more complex than the first.
A careful and informed decision is essential,
and to avoid side effects,
a detailed body analysis must be performed first.
Eligibility may differ depending on each person,
so full consultation with a medical team
is necessary before surgery.

The patient is 159cm tall, weighs 51kg,
with a BMI of 20. Over the past two years,
she gained more than 4kg, leading her to seek
a solution for stubborn lower body fat,
which is why she decided to undergo
liposuction surgery for body contouring.

She mentioned that about a year prior
to visiting our clinic, she had already
undergone lower body liposuction
at another clinic.

However, the mini liposuction she received
only addressed a small area and did not bring
significant body contouring improvements.
She still had remaining fat deposits,
which brought her to our clinic
for further correction.

Through consultation, she asked whether
thigh liposuction could smooth out
her uneven, bumpy leg contours
and enhance her legs into a slimmer,
more refined and balanced appearance.

Based on the pinch test, it was observed that
the previous thigh liposuction performed
at another clinic mainly targeted
the inner thighs.

In particular, the inner thigh area
showed unevenness due to adhesion,
so instead of reducing volume through suction,
we recommended fat transfer to the thighs
to smooth out the bumpy contours.

We also explained that aside from the inner thighs,
other areas would benefit more from liposuction
aimed at improving the overall leg line.

Since there was still a small amount of fat
remaining on the front thighs and saddlebags,
we planned to remove those areas with precision
to create better balance.

Additionally, because the patient had reduced
skin elasticity, we advised her to wear
compression garments for at least 2–3 months
after surgery, longer than the average,
to prevent sagging and help the skin
settle into a smooth shape.

We also emphasized the importance of
moisturizing care to prevent skin dryness
from prolonged compression wear.

Ultimately, to achieve a smoother leg contour,
we performed thigh liposuction,
fat transfer to the thighs, and calf botox.
A total of 2,000cc of fat was removed,
and a portion of the harvested fat was injected
into the curved inner thigh areas on both sides.

When undergoing liposuction for the first time,
some patients may find that the results
do not fully meet their expectations.

As more people seek to achieve
their desired outcomes, an increasing number
of patients are now visiting liposuction clinics
to explore options for liposuction revision surgery.

In cases of liposuction revision,
a careful and personalized approach is essential.
Surgeons must thoroughly understand the patient’s
current condition and specific goals to plan
a revision that matches their body shape.

This patient came to our clinic after an
unsatisfactory result from a previous procedure
done at another hospital. Through a thigh revision,
we reduced the remaining volume
to create better leg balance.

We also performed fat transfer using part of the
harvested fat to fill the uneven areas
of the inner thighs, which helped smooth
the leg contours and bring out a
more proportioned, symmetrical appearance.

While many patients worry about the outcome
before deciding on liposuction revision,
it is important to have a thorough consultation
with an experienced specialist who can evaluate
the current body condition and create
a detailed and effective surgical plan
for a successful result.
