Korean women are often more prone
to lower body obesity than upper body.

Sitting or standing for long periods
causes swelling in the lower body,
and this swelling easily turns into fat and hardens.

Since the lower body is structured
to easily accumulate fat,
when blood circulation and metabolism slow down,
it becomes even harder to lose fat in this area,
leading many to give up on dieting.

To achieve an effective diet,
if you’ve decided on liposuction surgery
with the help of medical professionals,

before proceeding with the surgery,
you must first identify
whether your lower body type
is swelling type, muscle type, or fat type.

The amount of fat that can be removed
and the direction of the surgery
will vary depending on the individual’s fat volume.

It’s important to carefully consider your body type
and consult with professional medical staff
before undergoing thigh liposuction.

A well-balanced lower body
requires proper curves in the thighs, hips, and waist.

If too much fat is removed from just one area,
like the thighs,
it can lead to an unbalanced body shape.

The patient, with a height of 159cm
and weight of 55.3kg,
had a lower body obesity type
with wide hips,

where thick thigh fat
and a heavy hip area
never slimmed down despite dieting,

so she wanted to improve
to a slim, straight leg line
through thigh liposuction.

[On the day of surgery, November 5 / thigh surgery area diagnosis]

The diagnosis showed that the patient’s thighs
had a higher muscle ratio than fat,
making them a muscular type.

So rather than creating a soft, slim look
through thigh liposuction,
it was expected to improve more
as a body shape correction.

Also, since fat was gathered under the buttocks,
removing the fat above the thighs
that supported the buttocks
could cause wrinkles or deeper folds
under the hips.

So hip line liposuction was recommended together.

When performing both liposuctions together,
it was explained that a dramatic transformation
might be difficult,

but it would be possible to naturally reduce volume
and create a balanced lower body through liposuction.

The patient agreed,
and both hip line and thigh liposuction surgeries
were performed.

After hip line + thigh liposuction surgery

[Day of surgery: 11/5, treatment day: 11/19, progress day: 3/17]

Looking at the line change after the surgery,
the patient’s body type showed an even distribution
of both muscle and fat, making the effect quite noticeable.

By the 4-month mark after surgery,
the overall volume in the thighs had decreased,
and the line had improved.

Even for a body type with a lot of muscle,
if the liposuction is done in a balanced, three-dimensional shape
without overdoing it, thigh liposuction surgery
can yield a noticeable line improvement.

Since individual body types, bone structures,
and fat distribution levels vary,
it’s crucial to have a thorough consultation
with experienced, specialized medical staff before the surgery.
