This patient had previously undergone thigh and abdominal liposuction at
our clinic and was highly satisfied with the results.
Trusting our team once again, she returned for arm liposuction.
She mentioned that the arms were the final area she wished to address.
Her goal was to remove the excess fat heavily concentrated in the upper arms to
achieve a straight-arm line and defined shoulder contour.

At the time of consultation, the patient was 162 cm tall and weighed 59 kg.
Her skin was thin with decreased elasticity.
Despite losing 11 kg over six months through diet and personal training,
her arm shape remained unchanged.
Given her naturally slender frame, she initially thought diet and exercise
alone would help her reach her goal. However, with limited improvement, she decided to consult us.
Upon evaluation, we determined that despite the reduced skin elasticity,
achieving her desired contour was still possible.

We also found noticeable fat accumulation in both the accessory breast area and the armpits.
To help her achieve a straight-arm silhouette with defined shoulders,
we recommended liposuction of these additional areas.
We explained that the armpit area, in particular, had significantly decreased elasticity,
and that loose skin could remain after liposuction. Therefore, long-term compression garment wear would be necessary.
Additionally, due to pre-existing skin folds in the accessory breast area,

this region could appear slightly darker or more prominent post-surgery, which was also explained in detail.
Her skin also tended to be dry, so we advised her to pay special attention to moisturizing care postoperatively,
as temporary dryness might worsen.
With her consent, we planned a design involving liposuction of the arms,
accessory breast area, and armpits, removing a total of 1,900cc of fat.

In the preoperative front-view photo, the upper arm and accessory
breast bulges are clearly visible when the arms are at rest.
At the time of stitch removal, the patient showed a good recovery,
with only mild swelling and some yellow bruising remaining.
Approximately two months post-surgery, bruising and swelling had subsided,
and the patient’s arm contour had transformed into a straight-arm line with more defined shoulders.
As discussed during consultation, she diligently wore compression garments,
which helped prevent loose skin and contributed to a satisfying result.

Let’s take a look at the patient’s own words:
“It’s day 14 post-surgery, and now I understand why people are so satisfied with arm liposuction.
During the first week, the swelling extended down to my hands, but overall, I’m very satisfied.
Now entering the second month, the swelling is completely gone, and my arms look noticeably slimmer.
After liposuction, I realize it’s important to continue managing my body through healthy habits.
The surgical team helped create a dramatic change, but maintaining the result is up to me.

It’s been over 100 days since my arm liposuction. I used to have broad shoulders and thick upper arms,
which made me look larger overall, and it was a big source of stress.
The doctors told me that including the armpit and accessory breast areas in
the procedure would help me get closer to my desired result—so I went ahead with it, and I’m so happy with how it turned out.”
During liposuction consultations, we often recommend treating accessory areas

if we anticipate a synergistic effect based on the patient’s desired line and overall body balance.
Our suggestion is always centered on helping the patient achieve more satisfactory and harmonious results.
Of course, patients are encouraged to take their time and consider
whether they would like to include these areas—there is absolutely no pressure.
At our clinic, we are continuously researching and refining our techniques to deliver
even more satisfying and beautiful outcomes for every patient.
