Patients who visit for arm liposuction consultation
often focus simply on
reducing arm fat and circumference.
However, during actual consultation,
we frequently find concerns not only
in the upper arms,
but also in the axillary breast area
and underarm region.
Fat accumulation or
glandular development in these areas
can make the entire upper body
appear wider and heavier.
Because these regions move together
with arm motion,
even small fat deposits
can significantly affect
clothing fit and silhouette.
For this reason, arm liposuction
is often planned together with
adjacent areas,
to improve overall volume balance
and postoperative satisfaction.
That said, combined procedures
are not mandatory for all cases.
Surgical areas and methods

In this case, the patient
underwent surgery due to
posterior arm bulging
and axillary breast protrusion.

Even with similar body profiles,
liposuction results may vary
depending on individual conditions.
Based on the body contour assessment,
the patient showed
a relatively high fat distribution
in the posterior upper arms.
In particular,
the deltoid muscles were well developed,
and left–right asymmetry
was also observed.
We explained that
if fat were removed excessively
without considering
these structural characteristics,
the underlying muscle contours
could become overly exposed,
resulting in an unnatural arm shape.
In addition,

From the front view,
the arms appeared
wide and thick overall,

The bulging axillary breast area
connected heavily
from the arms
to the upper chest,
creating a crowded, bulky impression.
Through arm liposuction
and axillary breast fat removal,
the arm circumference
was directly reduced,
while carefully controlling fat layer depth
to prevent
overexposure of
overdeveloped muscles.
As a result,
the arms were refined into
a smooth, straight silhouette.
The axillary breast bulge
was also improved,
allowing the underarm and lateral chest line
to connect cleanly.
Overall,
the upper body contour

From the back view,
the posterior arm volume was reduced,

From the side view,

posterior bulge
were smoothly improved.
The patient had been especially concerned

compared to the torso.
Through arm liposuction

As a result,
the arm appears narrower from the side,
