Even individuals with low body weight
or a naturally slim build
can struggle with localized fat accumulation,
which can create visible imbalances
and become a source of insecurity.

Areas like the lower abdomen, flanks, and thighs
are particularly resistant to fat loss,
which is why many patients consider liposuction
to address these stubborn zones.

Liposuction goes beyond simply reducing size—
it helps reshape areas where excess fat
disrupts the natural flow of the body line,
resulting in a smoother, more proportionate silhouette
that can enhance both confidence and overall appearance.

Furthermore, the extracted fat can be reused
to add volume to areas that are flat or uneven,
through fat transfer procedures,
which can help create a more feminine and natural body contour.

Even with similar body specifications,
results from liposuction surgery may vary.

Today’s featured patient shows that
even with an overall slim figure,
dissatisfaction with body line definition
can lead to a decision to undergo surgery.
We’ll take a closer look at how this case
resulted in visible improvements.

The patient had long been concerned
about her lower belly,
which remained prominent despite her size.

She shared that bloating from constipation
and menstrual cycle fluctuations
made her lower abdominal volume
even more noticeable,
which negatively affected her confidence in her body.

Body consultation revealed that
the patient had fat predominantly accumulated
in the lower abdomen and flanks.

Her upper abdomen had very little fat,
to the point where the rib cage appeared prominent,
so performing high-volume abdominal liposuction
to overly emphasize the waistline
could actually lead to a more skeletal appearance,
potentially reducing satisfaction.

The lower abdomen,
which is easily affected by bloating and hormonal cycles,
was also discussed.
We clearly explained that
even after abdominal liposuction,
this area could still show natural swelling or curvature,
and the patient fully understood this in advance.

With this in mind, we developed a surgical plan
to create a natural and proportionate upper body contour.

We proposed abdominal liposuction
along with flank fat reduction,
adjusted to fit her skeletal frame,
to create a softer inward-curving waistline.
To further enhance the visual narrowing of the waist,
we suggested hip dip fat transfer,
as part of a pelvic contouring strategy.

However, during the preoperative suitability exam,
the patient was found to be underweight,
so we carefully explained the limitations
in terms of available fat for grafting
and the possibility of limited sessions.

We advised that after the first hip dip fat transfer,
a second session may not be feasible
due to insufficient fat reserves,
and emphasized the importance of avoiding
excessive dieting, compression, or pressure
post-surgery to support fat graft survival.

Our medical team proceeded with a surgical design
focused on maximizing results
through the synergy of liposuction and fat grafting.

Let’s now take a closer look at the transformation
in the postoperative photos taken 2 weeks after
abdominal liposuction and hip dip fat transfer.

Through abdominal liposuction and hip dip fat transfer,
the patient’s waist and abdominal lines
were refined, resulting in a more smooth and balanced
overall body contour.

Although this is only the 2-week mark,
and there is still some postoperative swelling
in the treated areas,
you can already see a clear improvement
in the overall silhouette.

Fat removal from the lower abdomen and flanks
enhanced the definition of the waistline,
while the hip dip fat transfer created a natural curve,
resulting in a softer, more voluminous shape.

The patient expressed satisfaction with the fact that
her waist and abdominal lines became more defined,
which significantly improved how her clothes fit
and brought greater balance to her body proportions.

In the selfies taken 14 days after
abdominal liposuction and hip dip fat transfer,
you can observe that while swelling and
Bio-Bond stiffness are still present—
as expected during this phase—
the connection between the waist and hips
has become smoother,
emphasizing a more feminine silhouette.

This case shows that even patients
with a naturally slim body type
can experience noticeable transformation
by addressing localized fat accumulation
and complementing flat areas
with fat transfer.

The result is a leaner and more balanced figure
without overemphasizing volume,
but instead enhancing natural proportions.

That said, liposuction and fat grafting procedures
must be approached with a customized surgical plan,
reflecting each patient’s unique body structure
and physical condition.

Careful evaluation of factors like skin elasticity,
fat distribution, and frame balance
is critical to achieving optimal outcomes.

It’s equally important that the patient
fully understands both the purpose of surgery
and the realistic expectations,
so that the approach aligns with
their personal body contouring goals.
