Hello, this is Lesarts Plastic Surgery.
Post-liposuction care is optional, not mandatory, and can vary depending on the clinic and individual circumstances. However, it is beneficial for faster recovery.
To improve the bio-bonding that occurs after liposuction, it takes time, but the recovery period can be shortened through a high-frequency massage. This massage is performed starting from the third week after surgery, once the skin has stabilized.
Additionally, at around 3 months, when the bio-bonding has improved, we perform balance injections (fat-dissolving injections) for detailed contouring. This is not mandatory and is done selectively.
Depending on the condition of an individual’s scars, we may also offer injection treatments at 3 months or whitening laser treatments at 5 months. Not receiving post-surgery care does not lead to problems at the liposuction site, but for faster recovery, it is recommended to follow the aftercare diligently.
