I completely forgot about the disinfection, as I wasn’t thinking about it.
I had arm liposuction 3 days ago, and they gave me a lot of disinfectant and bandages to clean the incision, but I didn’t even open them.

After surgery, there may be some discharge or fluid coming from the incision site.
If this happens, it could turn into scabs, or if bacteria enter, an infection may occur. If the area becomes damp or wet, the incision won’t heal properly.
To promote a clean incision scar, it’s important to keep the area clean and dry. Since the skin around the incision is weakened, disinfecting too often can irritate it, which is not good.
We recommend disinfecting every two days. Starting the disinfection on the third day shouldn’t cause major problems, but please make sure to not forget about incision scar care going forward.
