"The unavoidable issue with liposuction is the incision scar.
The visibility of the scar varies depending on skin type, but it can be somewhat prevented with appropriate measures at the right time.
Scar ointment is recommended to be applied 2-3 days after stitch removal. It’s generally advised to use it for 1-2 months, though some individuals may be advised to use it for a longer period.
Since you are 3 months post-liposuction, you can start using scar ointment depending on the firmness of the scar. If the skin is still soft, whitening ointment may be more effective than scar ointment. However, if the scar area is firm, the use of scar ointment will likely be more beneficial."
