"The size of the incision and the cannula depends on the amount of fat removed, which affects the size of the incision. During surgery, the incision is made in areas that are as discreet as possible, but there may be unavoidable areas where the incision is visible.
The scar size is usually around 3-5mm, which is not large, but post-surgery pigmentation can cause the scar to appear darker and more noticeable. Since the scars typically appear symmetrically on both sides, they can be more visible.
The visibility of the scar can vary depending on skin type, but it generally lasts around 6 months to 1 year. The pigmentation is usually darkest at 2 months and gradually fades. Using ointments to reduce melanin pigmentation or combining treatments like whitening lasers can help speed up the process."
